Senior Finance Manager (Commodity Trading/Maritime)

Our client is a UK headquartered, reputed trading company with a significant presence in Singapore. They are seeking a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team.

This role reports to the Group Financial Controller and leads a team of 6-7 finance professionals based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the finance functions for the main trading entity and regional subsidiaries of the Group.
• Lead and mentor a team of Senior/Accounts Executives and Senior/Invoicing Assistants based across APAC.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts and reports.
• Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare annual financial statements for the assigned entities.
• Act as the primary contact for statutory and internal audits.

You will be providing leadership and direction to the multiple apparel sourcing development teams in country who are responsible for building strong vendor partnerships, ensuring that all products are developed on time and in line with the brand’s creative and strategic direction. You will work with the Asia Product Supply Sourcing leadership in the hub, to co-create the category (Apparel)sourcing strategy for your production country.
