In this programme of work, the tripartite model of adaptability will be used to examine Singapore Physical Education (PE) Teachers’ level of adaptability. The model involves cognitive, behavioural and emotional adaptability and refers to how an individual’s thinking, behaviour and emotions can be modified. In the context of PE teachers, the subject of PE is underpinned by a high level of variability and dynamism of the teaching environment as well as interaction among students and the PE teacher (e.g., physical classroom, CCA, outdoor education, values-based education). Unlike other subjects, the teaching and learning situation can transit quite quickly and there is greater uncertainty on the emergence of students’ learning behaviours as they interact with the learning task and environment.

The Engineer/Senior Engineer works independently on various Bio-Pharmaceutical/Industrial projects as assigned by a Project Manager and acts as Lead HVAC/Fire Protection Engineer. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Developing, Reviewing and monitoring all HVAC, Fire Protection, Sanitary/Plumbing System deliverables

· Developing HVAC, Fire Protection, Sanitary/Plumbing System design Calculations, Load Calculations, drawings, Specifications, data sheets, Equipment Schedules, Scope of works, MTOs and 3D Models, and utilizing Industry sector and safety best-practices.

· Conversant with all HVAC/Fire Protection/Sanitary & Plumbing systems design involved in Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Industrial Projects/plants.

· Knowledge of Singapore codes/standards for HVAC/Fire Protection (HVAC/FP/SP) and Sanitary/Plumbing Systems

· Reviewing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance requirements are met for design and (e.g. Standards, specification and local codes and regulations etc.)

· Coordinating with other engineering and design discipline team members

Role Responsibilities:

Centre for Optical Fibre Technology (COFT)

COFT is a joint endeavour between DSO, A*Star and NTU which hosts state-of-the-art fabrication equipment for several kinds of optical fibres, ranging from standard silica fibres to a variety of advanced specialty fibres, microstructured fibres and novel glasses (e.g. chalcogenides). Key equipment includes a 8.5 m dual-side fibre drawing tower, a Modified Chemical Vapour Deposition (MCVD) fibre preform lathe hosted in 200 m2 of cleanroom space. The facility also includes 300 m2 of dedicated chemical preparation area for glass etching and machining, advanced fibre processing and characterisation systems, including Bragg grating engraving/cutting, fusion splicing, thermogravimetric and thermomechanical analysers, lithography and etching. Characterisation relies on spectrophotometry, high-frequency network analysis, SNOM and electro-optic microcharacterisation.

A Facility Manager (FM) is required to support fibre fabrication activities at NTU. The FM should address any problems or issues that arise during fibre fabrication in the lab and proactively assist those using the facility. The FM must exhibit strong organisational skills and confidently prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment where responsibilities are continually evolving.

We are looking for a Regional Corporate Planning Manager who can support our Management.

[Job Descriptions]

1. Formulation and promotion of business strategies and medium- to long-term management plans in ASEAN and South Asia.

2. Formulation of business budget policy in ASEAN and South Asia and analysis of the difference between budget and performance .

3.Support, guidance, and training for the business strategy of subsidiaries.

4. Preparation of meeting materials and reports to Japan headquarter in Japanese.

5. Translation of the instructions / documents from Japan headquarter into English to share with staffs in subsidiaries and to apply to related organizations.

6. Joining regular web meeting with Japan headquarter.

7. Formulation of recruitment plan.

8. Formulation of human resource development plan for subsidiaries.

9. Monitoring HR Evaluation System operation for subsidiaries.

10. Manage payroll and employee welfare.

11. Manage personnel appraisal, promotion and appointment .

12. Development and Update Employee Handbook and personnel-related regulations.

13. Apply and Renew VISA of other countries / EP / Airport Pass.

[Requirements]

1. Computer skills (MS word, excel, powerpoint,Outlook).

2. Experiences in Corporate Planning more than five years.

3. Experiences in Human Resource more than five years.

4. Basic knowledge of freight forwarding to formulate business strategies.

5. Japanese language (JLPT N1 level) is required to communicate with Japanese customers and Japan headquarter.

6. Sometimes required to go overseas (ASEAN and South Asia) for business trip.
