Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Assistant to join our Warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this role is to execute inbound and outbound job tasks efficiently to meet completion timelines. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to 5S standards in the workplace, maintain safety compliance according to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) mandatory requirements, and perform pre-operational checks on forklifts before operation.

Your Role

• Handling of warehousing operations for projects and regular shipments by road, air, sea or others.
• Execute inbound and outbound job tasks in a timely manner to meet completion timelines.
• Ensure adherence to 5S standards in the workplace, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices in accordance with MOM mandatory requirements.
• Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts before operation, ensuring their proper functioning and safety.
• Perform weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Maintain a can-do attitude and positive approach towards assigned tasks.
• Perform stuffing and unstuffing of containers as required.
• Lash and unlash cargo following proper procedures.
• Perform work-at-height (WAH) activities with adherence to safety guidelines.
• Perform lifting operations as either a signal-man or rigger, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
• Complete any ad hoc tasks delegated by immediate superiors.

Your Background

• Completion of PSLE/SPM or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the logistics industry (preferred)
• Possession of a forklift license (preferably heavy forklift license), Work-At-Height (WAH) worker license, Signal-Man and Rigger license approved by MOM (preferred)
• Strong can-do attitude and positive mindset.
• Proficiency in performing stuffing and unstuffing of containers.
• Ability to lash and unlash cargo following proper procedures.
• Experience in performing work-at-height (WAH) activities safely.
• Competence in performing lifting operations as either a signal-man or rigger.
• Willingness to undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned by immediate superiors.
