We are seeking an energetic research assistant with background in neuroscience, psychology, and/or exercise science join our team exploring the neurobiological mechanisms of cognitive load using a combination of neuroimaging and brain stimulation techniques.

Singapore is facing a rapidly aging population that is compounded by a low national birth rate and longer life expectancy of our residents. It is expected that by 2050, approximately 25% of the Singaporean population will be over the age of 65 years, which poses significant challenges in healthcare and socioeconomic domains (National Population and Talent Division., 2023). Older adults often experience cognitive aging and decline, including reduced memory, processing speed, and attention, which can negatively impact their quality of life and independence (Lustig et al., 2009). These deficits in executive functioning are a result of structural and functional brain changes that results in the brain becoming less efficient in supporting attentional demands to day-to-day activities (Cox & Deary, 2022). A key theory in cognitive aging is that older adults experience greater cognitive load (Cognitive Load Theory, CLT) during task performance compared to younger adults that is due to inefficient neural processing (Prince et al., 2024; Sweller, 1988). Cognitive load theory posits that the brain has finite working memory capacity to attend to cognitive tasks, and an overload of information will result in a deficit in learning or allocation of attentional resources to deal with cognitive task (Sweller & Chandler, 2009). Thus, as the brain ages and becomes more inefficient in processing and allocating attentional resources to deal with complex tasks, the likelihood of successful task performance, particularly in situations with time pressures, is negative affected. This project will address the following research questions:

1. What is the relationship between cognitive load, neural activity, and vascular response in young versus older adults during simple and complex cognitive task performance?

2. Can non-invasive brain stimulation modulate the neural and vascular responses to cognitive load, and improve cognitive performance in older adults?

As a Salvage Engineer, the world is your playground. You never know when or where a ship gets into trouble. That is why for a Salvage Engineer literally every day is different. • As part of the mobile team, reports to the Salvage Master/Project Manager at site.
• When at base, assisting the technical manager and the operations manager to set up the right maintenance procedures and carry out the planned maintenance system of our equipment.
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers about complex ship's systems and maintenance solutions.
• Advising the salvage inspector and superintendent about how to break into existing ship's systems in order to use them during the salvage operation.

THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Early Intervention for Children (EIC) Services helps equip children with motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive skills. THK EIC involves structuring classes around small groups encompassing early childhood special education, social work and therapy support services to stimulate their adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.

The main responsibility of the Assistant Teachers are to support teachers in achieving the Centre and programme goals in close partnership with the Therapists, Social Workers, Psychology Associates, Administrative Staff and Families of the children.

Reports to the Principal Lead Teacher and/ or Senior Teacher.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Lead Teachers to:

• Co-teach an effective education programme for the class to meet every child's IEP.
• Brainstorm and plan activities to support students' learning
• Prepare teaching resources
• Ensure students are well supervised during contact time in the centre /classroom.
• Manage students' behavior
• Carry out recommended therapeutic interventions.
• Receive and discharge the students before and after class
• Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and conducive learning environment e.g. tidying up the classroom after class
• Supervise the Teacher Aides under their charge
• Attend workshops and in-service training
• Maintain good communication with parents and make each parent feel at ease with/ at the programme

• Non-related Diploma in any discipline

• Mature, independent, creative, flexible thinking and able to motivate children
• Good people skills
• Able to work independently
• Has strong understanding of the diverse cultures and races
• Has patience, love, passion & commitment in the education of & nurturing young children and empowering the families
• Valid First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities:

· Move inventory and materials across facilities.

· Process inventory for delivery.

· Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.

We are currently seeking experienced Assistant Salvage Master to join our growing team!

Position Overview:

Respond to and support operations in Marine emergency response, oil spill, maritime/land and contracts or planned projects as needed and under varying environmental conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist in preparing tenders to obtain contracts.

* Assist in preparing operational, resource and commercial planning of salvage projects.

* Assist in safe execution of emergency response and wreck removal salvage projects.

* Assist in controlling, reporting and evaluation of projects and keeping management adequately

informed of the project progress and comparison to the preset operational, learning, and financials objectives.

* Assist in ensuring Quality and Safety standards for staff and work location are within the framework of the relevant procedures and standards.

* Assist in the maintenance of salvage and oil spill equipments.

* Assst Warehouse Manager in day to day maintenance activities.

* Assist in ensuring maintenance record of all salvage goods are updated and properly recorded.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• 10+ years' experience performing labor related work and operating boats preferably in the marine oil spill and emergency response industry.
• At least 5 years minimum experience on salvage and wreck removal projects.
• In possession of necessary maritime training and certifications.
• Must be a self-starter such as finding work to do between direct assignments, follow through with tasks, and take ownership and pride in work performed.
• Must have a consistent and reliable work ethic by adhering to work schedules utilizing time efficiently in order to complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.
• Must be willing and able to travel and work extended hours including on-call rotation shifts in order to meet operational demands.
