Project Introduction:

The aim of the project is to study and evaluate several types of conditions and design parameters of different plasma and laser devices that would allow: (1) generation of laser-induced plasma channel under atmospheric pressure, (2) propagation and maintaining of electrical stream/pulses on the plasma channel, (3) evaluate effects of laser-induced plasma with material interaction. Experimental and simulation studies will be caried out using various setups and software tools to determine the feasibility of generating these laser-induced plasma channel for applications requiring electrical discharge, electrical transport, and spectroscopy.

Requirements:

• BSc in Physics, Engineering Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably minimum 1 year working or research experience.
• Preferably with experience in experimental lab or computational applications.
• Preferable knowledge of Unix or Linux concepts, the Unix shell, and terminal commands to interact with Unix computer environments.
• Preferably possess or previously holds a NEA N3 laser license.

Responsibilities:

• Work on development of laser induced plasma channel and other plasma/laser setups.

Coastal Protection & Flood Management (CPFM)

1. Deliver comprehensive training to 60 individuals, ensuring their successful certification through rigorous CPFM programs that meet industry standards.
2. Coordinate, plan and host CPFM events in collaboration with a diverse range of government agencies, fostering strong partnerships and enhancing the visibility of CPFM initiatives.
3. Produce and present three in-depth white papers on critical topics related to Coastal Protection & Flood Management, contributing to the body of knowledge in these areas.
4. Foster international connections and opportunities for CPFM members, facilitating introductions and engagements with key overseas stakeholders to expand the network and impact of CPFM.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree Holder
2. 1 to 3 years of working experience

Task Management

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product quality improvement plan, aligned with the organization'soverall goals and objectives.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify and analyse root causes of quality issues.
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent future quality issues.
• Monitoring and reporting on product quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead/manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in the administration and review of procurement and contract management
• Review contract documents and providing cost estimates on tenders
• Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment including variation claim
• Resolving contract disputes and contract claims, assessing entitlement for extension of time and loss/expense claim
• Able to independently lead/manage large scale project
• Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondences and documentations
• Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
• Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment
