About You

Vessel Resource Manager (VRM) will be a qualified and experienced Marine Engineer / Naval Architect with operational and maintenance knowledge of electrical, and mechanical (hydraulics) systems. Ideally the VRM should have sailed as a minimum 2nd Engineer (unlimited) and / or possess a minimum 8 years of shore experience managing various types of Offshore Vessels (DP1/2/3) including preparation of technical budgets and understands BIMCO charter party contracts. It is desirable if he has a high-level knowledge of geophysical survey and / or seabed light-geotechnical site investigation, and technical equipment used to conduct such operations.

Job Description

-In charge of handling arrival and departure passengers, coordinating and assisting passengers at the check-in counter.

-Handle irregularities and complaints occurring from handling process and reporting to head quarter.

-Ticketing and reservation.

-Assist passengers as needed through arrival and check in processes including support for passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors(UM), VIP passengers and passengers needing wheelchair assistance.

-Handle all the expenses and revenues of the department.

-Answering telephone calls and general passenger handling duties in the Passenger Service Section.

-Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine, as required.

-Design and development of the in-flight catering both on the variety and quality as well as product quality control.

-Handle special tasks assigned by management and other ad hoc duties.

Requirements

-At least 10 years of working experience in airport passenger service at airline company.

-Customer oriented with pleasant disposition and ability to communicate with all level of people.

-Pro-active, self motivated individual who works well independently.

-Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

-Japanese communication skill of JPLT N1 or eqivalent is required for this post, for accurate and prompt communication and direction to the relevant departments at the Tokyo head office, in the event of an emergency.

-Extensive knowledge of international and Japanese regulations of aviation industry.

-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Casework Management

• Lead complex case management and psychosocial interventions.
• Provide guidance on high-risk cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care delivery.

2. Team Management

• Oversee and manage the social work team's performance, workload, and case assignments.
• Conduct audits and monitor performance metrics such as case turnaround and documentation quality.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development to staff, including conducting annual appraisals.
• Approve financial assistance recommendations (e.g., Medifund, subsidy deviation) made by the social workers.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative team environment and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

3. Community & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care.

4. Program & Service Development

• Develop, implement, and evaluate social work programs, including group work and counseling services for residents, families, and staff.
• Lead program assessments and monitor staff performance and program outcomes.

5. Professional Development

• Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and events.
• Ensure continuous professional development for self and staff by attending industry events, training sessions, and case discussions.

6. Administrative Oversight

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage administrative functions, including staffing schedules, leave approvals, and financial assistance processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience in Social Work
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, supervise, and develop staff
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and financial assistance programs (e.g., Medifund, subsidy deviations)
• An accredited Registered Social Worker by the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

8.00am to 5.15pm (Monday - Friday, 45 minutes lunch break inclusive)

or

8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday Friday, 45 minutes lunch break inclusive)

Requirements

Good tertiary education.
