Key Responsibilities:

• Work with or follow up with other departments and overseas subsidiaries on accounting matters
• Ensure that the monthly financial reports for local entities are prepared and submitted timely
• Reconciling banks, payables, and receivables
• Handle monthly closing of local entities’ accounts
• Assist Finance Manager with quarterly consolidation work, corporate tax, and XBRL
  Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trade Assistant (M/F/X) who will be part of our small and international team. The candidate will report to the Trade and Investment Counsellor, who is responsible for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the Trade and Investment Counsellor in activities promoting the internationalisation of Flanders-based companies and organisations, with a particular focus on the Indonesia market. This includes but is not limited to:

• Managing the CRM databases
• Business matching and professional partner search
• Assist in managing the budget of assigned event(s) Planning and organisation of events, including but not limited to trade show pavilions, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, etc.
• Coordination of activities with internal and external partners
• Research of market and sector information relevant to the existing economic climate or trends.

Profile Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Engineering or any similar fields
• At least 5 years of work experience
• Good administrative skills; excellent communication skills; strong project management, time management, and organizational skills

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Dynamics 365
