• Conduct commercial analysis at in-depth level for actual data in financial statements, sales, production/CAPEX data, procurement data, inventory, Standard Costing Production variances and other relevant operational information.
• Perform analysis relating to product costing, manufacturing site costs, SCM costs, Inventory and CAPEX related processes for the Region assigned and at global level.
• Responsible for America region especially US FP&A full coverage. This includes full P&L analysis, review of financial trends, forecast, budget and CAPEX, etc
• Highlights exceptions & provide feedback to management for improvement.
• Lead global initiatives and projects on relevant improvement relating to work processes, reporting templates, efficiency, timeliness & accuracy in data collation / analysis and performance tracking.
• Provide leadership to all users at global level, as a Business Process expert, during system upgrades or new system implementation, working with external consultant to deliver results according to timeline.
• Represents Global Finance in ISO matters and also acts as ISO internal auditor for DyStar.
• Track & analyse KPI achievements at global level e.g. Revenue & profitability, by drilling down to Product Range, Sales Area & Customer details.
• Work with Business Intelligent tools, SAP/BW systems to gather data, turning data into storyline supported by graphical illustration.
• On ad-hoc basis (e.g. M&A activities, shareholders requests, legal cases, financial modelling), to support global leadership team in decision-making via periodic research and compilation of essential key information from internal & external sources e.g. market trend, competitive landscape, industrial benchmarking etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in in finance / accounting with minimum 8 years’ experience in FP&A and Standard Costing.
• Hands-on experience in production-oriented & manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of intermediate level of double-entries, basic understanding of intercompany transactions, project management would be a plus.
• Ability in designing & drawing graphs and interpreting them.

This Manager/Assistant Manager contract position provides communications and content support to the Community Impact (CI) division, which includes departments that run community engagement programmes, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO), and the Singapore Symphony Choruses. This position will focus on strengthening the brand positioning and visibility of key SSG entities like the SNYO and Singapore Symphony choruses, which includes working closely with the respective teams to develop and implement social media strategy and tactics while ensuring alignment with the overall Singapore Symphony Group’s communications and digital plans and frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content creation and social media

• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and grow existing and new social media channels for SNYO and the Singapore Symphony Choruses
• Oversee social media and content marketing for CI, including developing scripts/ story outlines and working with vendors to produce content
• Act as a liaison between SNYO, Choral Programmes, and Communications, Digital & Marketing departments
• Create and edit basic short-form video content for different social media platforms (e.g., IG, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Editorial lead for the community engagement team’s quarterly publication
• Oversee hired photography and videography vendors at concerts; Manage photo and video shoots for the CI division
• Manage related digital assets, including electronic photo and video archives, photo selection for external partners, and permissions/crediting for use of photographs and video, and liaise/ communicate with internal colleagues (e.g., digital team)

Branding and communications

• Work with external vendors to develop brand assets and resources for CI programme needs (e.g., key visuals for concerts and other activities, photo/ video shoots, social media content in the lead-up to key concerts, etc.)
• Plan and deliver marketing campaigns targeted at specific audience segments, including e-brochures, e-mail marketing, and other promotional material
• Document CI programmes and develop compelling narratives for media coverage
• Identify unique stories for press pitching and content building needs
• Work closely with internal Marketing Communications department to ensure brand alignment for all public-facing materials and brand assets for CI.
• Any other matters related to branding and communications of CI work

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma and above
• Minimum 4 years of branding, communications, social media, or other related work experience
• Experience in arts administration, especially symphonic/ choral music, would be an advantage
• Excellent oral and written communications in English is essential
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, as well as video editing and photography, are required

RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder reports directly to the Senior Facilities Manager. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: -

• Conducts daily inspection of the entire school compound for cleanliness, safety and maintenance;
• Plans and carries out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including aircon servicing, maintenance of kitchen equipment, kitchen exhaust, fridge maintenance, painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school;
• Handles maintenance requests and update maintenance request records and monitor response time;
• Handles maintenance cash float and ordering of hardware and materials;
• Handles feedback from Principal and Teachers, and provide prompt responses within the same day;
• Adheres to effective execution of safety and standard operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines;
• Conducts WSH training of school cleaning and support staff and maintains records of training conducted;

• Provides coverage of duties should there be any absence of school cleaning staff at the school;
