Job Description:
1. Handle and perform full set of accounts includes AP, AR, GL and schedules
2. Perform AP and AR duties including reconciliation
3. Verify and process staff claims and timesheet
4. Submission of GST returns
5. Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliation
6. Support the month-end closing activities
7. Assist in the preparation of all accounting-related reports
8. Assist in year-end financial audit
9. Perform banking and ad hoc errands
10. Perform proper document filing and control
11. Any ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
· Diploma in Accounting or related disciplines
· Proficient in MS Office and knowledge in MYOB will be preferred
· Familiar with local accounting & tax standards preferred
· Able to work independently, strong sense of responsibility and under pressure
· Able to multi-task and work within deadlines
· Able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines effectively and efficiently
· Positive ‘Can do attitude and willing to give everything a go’
· Good communication skills
· Good punctuality and time management skills
· Flexible and supportive
· Experience with working in a start-up environment will be an added advantage
