• Supervise service staff responsible for shelving, shelf-reading, handling customer queries, and backroom operations.
• Ensure service staff are updated on work processes, policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and highlight issues or commendations to the Team Leader and Library Manager, including patron complaints and compliments.

Handle Customer Queries

• Manage lost and found items within the library.

Crisis Management

• Maintain and oversee PPE items and the First Aid kit.

Shook Lin & Bok LLP, a leading Singapore law firm, is looking for a meticulous and well-organised individual to join us as an IP Administrative Assistant.

Requirements

- Possesses a competent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

- Demonstrates strong computer literacy skills (in MSOffice applications such as MSWord, MSOutlook, and MSExcel) with the ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize IP management software. Familiarity with IP management systems, such as DIAMS, Foundation IP, or Patricia is a plus.

- Experience in handling intellectual property filings via IPOS Digital Hub and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) is a plus.

- An adaptable and good-natured person who is self-motivated and goal-oriented.

- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

- Provide timely and accurate cost estimates to clients related to IP prosecution matters (patents, trade marks & designs, both local and foreign).

- Manage clients' IP records, ensuring they are up-to-date and well-organized, and preparing status reports.

- Assisting with the filing and prosecution of IP applications both locally and overseas, including preparation of documents related to IP filings, renewals, and recordals with IPOS and WIPO.

- Track and manage deadlines related to the clients' IP portfolios (patents, trademarks, designs, both local and foreign).

- Assist with the preparation of correspondence and standard reports in relation to clients’ IP portfolios (patents, trademarks, designs, both local and foreign).

- Managing day-to-day administrative matters and administering IP portfolios (patents, trademarks & designs, both local and foreign)

1. To lead, oversee and manage daily operations in the delivery of excellent food and beverage service with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction.

2. Handle guests’ complaints and eventually convert dissatisfied guests into returning customers through efficient and accurate response.

3. Revenue management towards achieving profitability and quality goals by managing operations within set budget and to the highest standards.

4. Management of both Front of house and Back of house staff to ensure complete all round involvement and coordination.

5. Motivate service staff to provide excellent customer service and maintaining high productivity towards goal of high employee retention.

6. Maximise reservations and optimize restaurant’s seating plan by working with the Guest Relations Manager.

7. Ensure all activities within the restaurant are in compliance to hygiene, sanitation and safety regulations.

8. Establish relationships with suppliers and constantly research on new suppliers to ensure competitive sourcing.

9. Conduct training to consistently work towards knowledge-driven customer service and helping employees reach their full potential.

10. Involvement in the sourcing and planning of vendor contracts.

Main duties:

- Assist Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations

- Manage the inventory and monthly stock take of all drinks and other necessary stock

- Assist in serving and taking orders

- Ensuring that customers are taken care of.

- Ensuring that kitchen presents and serves food as according to standards of the Company

- Other duties to be briefed during interview etc.
