o Prepare bank reconciliations at month-end

o Ensure timely and accurate month-end close (close by Day 3)

o Preparation of management accounts

o Arrange sufficient funding in own funds’ bank accounts to meet all payment obligations

o Management of petty cash

· Coordinate with the Accountant on daily workload

· Ensure compliance to all regulatory and governmental bodies at all times

· Be a gatekeeper – inform the Finance Manager / Head of Department for potential / upcoming issues, propose improvements where necessary and appropriate.

· Handle year-end audit including, but not limited to the preparation of schedules, reply to auditors’ queries, inter-company transactions reconciliations, carrying out analytical reviews etc.

· Assist in the company’s annual budgeting exercise

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum 3 years accounting experience

· Holder of University degree in Accounting

· Strong MS Office knowledge; Basic understanding and knowledge of regulatory compliances

· Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin, preferably intermediate level of Cantonese

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good customer-service attitude

· Self-motivated, attentive to details and able to work under pressure

· A good team player; able to work independently with minimum supervision under tight deadlines

Your key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Operations Team Lead, this role will be responsible for supporting the Finance team on administrative tasks to support finance deliverables and day to day operations. In this critical role of a dynamic growing business, it is an opportunity to gain exposure to finance operations in construction industry and gain experience in Accounts Payable.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of deliveries expected from the candidate. However, it covers the foundation responsibilities and capabilities that are required for the candidate to be successful in role.

• Day-to-day operational tasks including account payables, accounts receivable's and bank reconciliation functions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough finance data records
• Support in any other ad-hoc duties as required by the team
• Adherence to safety in the workplace
• Other administrative scope such as scanning and filing of documents

The ideal candidate should have:

• Diploma graduate in accounting and finance or its equivalent
• Min. 1 year of experience in accounting & finance role
