We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Area Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations within our organization. As an Assistant Area Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of F&B operations, overseeing a team of employees, and assisting the Area Operations Manager in executing strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and a passion for improving operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Assist the Area Operations Manager in the oversight of daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of the group of F&B Outlets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve high performance and productivity.
- Process Optimization: Help in identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist in tracking operational performance metrics, preparing reports, and analyzing data to ensure KPIs and objectives are met.
- Staff Management: Ensure that employees follow company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and quality.
- Inventory and Resource Management: Support inventory control efforts and manage resources (equipment, tools, etc.) to maintain operational continuity.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards across all operational activities.
- Project Coordination: Help coordinate and implement new initiatives, projects, or processes under the direction of the Area Operations Manager.
- Customer Service: Address any operational issues that arise, ensuring customer concerns are addressed promptly and that service levels remain high.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in managing the department's budget, ensuring costs are controlled and financial goals are met.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (HR, Sales, Logistics, etc.) to ensure operational alignment and smooth coordination across teams.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Food Hygiene Audit and Halal Competency Certificates will be advantageous
- Proven experience in F&B operations or a related role (2+ years preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify operational issues and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with other operational management software such as POS .
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
