CFS is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join as an Assistant Director in an important and exciting role that offers hands-on opportunities to develop, implement and manage bespoke philanthropic advisory solutions and collective giving programmes. The candidate will lead the Philanthropy Solutions, and provide knowledge and innovative programme solutions to the philanthropy advisors managing sophisticated donors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively exercise creativity, foresight, and judgment in planning and bespoke philanthropy advisory services in a variety of philanthropic domains. This includes developing and implementing strategies, action plans and programmes to promote effective philanthropy in Singapore
• Provide independent leadership on complex assignments and be able to guide 1-2 team members
• Develop a thorough knowledge of advisory team’s needs to provide proactive, efficient, and expedient resources and support towards the collective growth of the advisory and solutions teams
• Oversee the end-to-end grantmaking process for donors with bespoke advisory services provided
• Stay informed about emerging trends/needs, research and innovations in the fields of sustainability and social impact to continuously build pipeline of philanthropic opportunities and evaluate effectiveness of programmes/solutions funded by donors

Qualifications/Skills:

• Masters-level qualifications in business, social sciences, public policy/health preferred
• Domain knowledge/expertise on one or more of the following sectors will be an advantage – environment/sustainability, economic, social, health and care needs and the philanthropic sector
• Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences, stakeholders, funders and partners
• Ability to work under own initiative with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management, with the ability to develop and manage budgets for philanthropic initiatives
• Strong ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements
• Able to strive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment as an independent contributor with limited resources
• Ability to write and present clear and concise reports independently

Assistant Transport Coordinator

Position Title: Assistant Transport Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Assistant Transport Coordinator supports the organization's efficient operation of transportation and logistics activities. This role involves coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining communication with drivers, and assisting in resolving transportation issues to guarantee timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling and Coordination: Assist in planning and scheduling routes for deliveries or pickups.
   Ensure optimal utilization of vehicles to meet deadlines and reduce costs.
   Communicate schedules and updates to drivers and drivers.
   
2. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery logs, driver hours, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
   Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to transportation performance.
   Process invoices and coordinate with accounts payable for transport-related expenses.
   
3. Compliance and Safety: Monitor adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
   Ensure drivers are current with certifications, licenses, and compliance training.
   Report any violations or incidents to the Transport Coordinator.
   
4. Communication and Problem-Solving: Act as the first point of contact for drivers regarding route changes, delays, or emergencies.
   Address customer concerns regarding transportation services promptly and professionally.
   Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of goods.
   
5. Vehicle and Resource Management: Track and report the condition and performance of vehicles including contractor's vehicles.
   Ensure routine maintenance and repairs are scheduled and completed on time.
   

Qualifications:

Education:

• Certificate in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• O Level or N Level
• Nitec or Higher Nitec

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related role.
• Familiarity with route planning software and transportation management systems is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve extended periods of sitting at a desk or using a computer.

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on operational needs.

Reports to the Outlet Manager. He/She is also responsible for ensuring that the Restaurant operates smoothly and customers are happy. He/She assumes the duties of the Outlet Manager (other than opening and locking up the Restaurant) when the Manager is not around.

1. Welcome guests into the Restaurant.

2. Coordinate the seating of the guests. Assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.

3. Take and schedule reservations.

4. Oversee the flow of customers into and out of the restaurant.

5. Manage busy lobby when no tables available.

6. Establish proper atmosphere and efficiency in the dining room.

7. Ensure proper set-up and cleanliness of front counter, sidewalk, entryway, dessert station and restroom areas.

8. Ensure that the customers’ requests are not delayed.

9. Inform the Outlet Manager of any special requests from guests.

10. Ensure smooth operations of the Restaurant by helping with odd jobs.

11. Provide clear information relating to the restaurant’s operation hours, dress code, food service, etc. to the guests.

12. Recognise regular guests and highlight to the service staff and outlet chef about the particular guest’s preferences.

13. Responsible for supervising the weekly cleaning program. You are responsible for ensuring that all stated areas are cleaned and check boxes ticked off.

HR cum Account Assistant

$2,400-$3,500

5 working days, 8.30am – 6.00pm

Human Resource Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll regularly
• To ensure compliance of Employment Act and taxation policy.
• Handle all administrative duties relating to HR matters and claims.
• Manage work passes related issues such as application, renewal, cancellation etc.
• Responsible for application, renewal and maintaining licensing with various government bodies
• Assist in submission of CPF contributions, IR21, IR8A, levy claim applications, government surveys and other statutory submissions.
• Maintain and timely renew of Insurances, Security Bond and Insurance Claim Handling
• Maintain, up-to-date and filing records and profiles in the HR system and MOM portal.
• Maintain and verify timesheets, attendance and leaves balance for all staff
• Prepare letters and internal announcements as and when required.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:

· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

· Prepare consolidation and entity level management report for monthly, quarterly, and yearly group reporting

• Responsible for monthly CPF contributions, tax clearance/ annual tax filing by working closely with Accountant during annual audit process.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system

· Quarterly GST submission and assist in preparation of annually corporate tax submission

· Long and short-term cash flow projection and monitoring

• Prepare invoicing, debit and credit notes, payments, issuance of cheques/ TT and e-filing duties, bank reconciliation, cashflow statements.

· Prepare letters and emails to remind customers of due payments

· Expenditure variance analysis and monitoring

· Liaison with external auditors pertaining to statutory audit

· Liaison with tax agent on company taxation matters

· Liaise with company secretary, bankers, local authorities, and other relevant parties pertaining to finance and account related matters

• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Familiar to MOM rules & regulations is a preferred.
• At least 3 years of human resource and accounting experience is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in HR, Payroll or Accounting software/system. (Infotech, E-Retail, MYOB)
• Well verse in English and Mandarin to liaise with overseas counter-part.
  Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to prioritise tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
