Role Overview:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with SFRS, corporate tax regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, including comprehensive analysis and commentary on significant variances.
• Develop and provide monthly audit schedules and support both internal and external audit processes by addressing any audit-related inquiries.
• Manage the preparation and submission of corporate tax filings for the various entities, collaborating with tax agents to file annual returns.
• Address tax-related queries and manage tax audits as needed.
• Assist with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and corporate tax filing requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma & above
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience with full set accounting and preferably with audit/tax background.
• Good working knowledge of SFRS and Singapore tax
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
• A self-starter who can plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
• Can-do attitude, good team player, driven and passionate.

The Audit Partner will oversee our teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam, managing a clientele that includes many established MNCs and listed companies, both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

Oversee full spectrum of assurance client portfolio, The ideal candidate is single minded in their pursuit of ensuring compliance, ethical and achieves this goal through optimizing reporting procedures and driving the successful function of the audit team.

• Manage a portfolio of assurance clients , developing new client relationship to ensure business growth.
• Responsible for audit engagements’ quality is in compliance with professional standards and requirements, delivery, and budget including control of billings and payment collection.
• Performance other non-audit assignment such as - IPO, financial due diligent, valuation, etc.
• Possesses and conformance with up-to-date technical knowledge on auditing, IT and accounting.
• Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competences.
• Actively impart technical skills to team members through on-the-job training (OJT), constant check on performance of the team and tries to resolve any discrepancies, if any.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines.
• Ensure that auditing functions are completed in a professional manner and on the given time.
• Collaborate and communicate with the respective partners on client issue resolution and make recommendation for any legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement.
• Conduct internal training for assurance and other departments on SSA, SSQM and FRS when required.

Requirements:

• Must possess a Practice Certificate and be registered as a Public Accountant with ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority).
• Must hold the Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore) designation and be a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Audit Associate operates in work contexts that are less standardised and unanticipated changes can be frequent due to changes in the external environment.

• Able to identify unethical behaviour and react based on the applicable ethical principles. He/She is expected to team lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by a less experienced personnel member and concluding the engagement.

• Works closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensures the timely completion of the audit engagement. He/She also works closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate will have 1~2 years of experience and be bi-lingual in English and Mandarin

Duties

1. Is expected to lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement.
2. Works closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensures the timely completion of the audit engagement.
3. Works closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.
4. Able to identify unethical behavior and react based on the applicable ethical principles.
5. Operates in work contexts that are less standardization and unanticipated changes can be frequent due to changes in the external environment.
6. Work with any of the assurance teams to obtain an understanding of our client’s business.
7. Develop an audit plan/strategy for an audit of financial statements and document the planning procedures.
8. Prepare/tailor audit programmes based on areas of audit emphasis determined at the planning stage.
9. Perform audit tests of controls and substantive procedures based on planned audit approach to address the various assertions, eg: existence & completeness, rights and obligations, valuation, accuracy, presentation and disclosure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
