Key Scope:

• Administer payroll accurately and promptly through the payroll system
• Manage and submit statutory requirements such as tax clearance IR21, NS make-up claims, FWL waiver, etc
• Maintain and post payroll entries into the accounting software
• Monitor staff attendance, manage timesheets, oversee leave administration and claims processing
• Assist in maintaining financial records, preparing GST returns, processing payments, and performing bank reconciliation
• Support statutory audits
• Prepare and submit surveys required by MOM
• Perform administrative tasks and other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Key Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts
• Positive attitude and willing to learn payroll and HR Admin function
• Attention to detail and precision in handling financial records

Project Title: Identifying and assessing integrative STEM competencies for secondary school students in Singapore.

Project Introduction: The proposed research is an exploratory study on what constitutes key STEM competencies and how the assessment of these key STEM competencies can be integrated with-in the school curriculum through a learning progression approach. There are three main objectives to the proposed project. First, we aim to identify key integrative STEM competencies for secondary school students by reaching a consensus amongst subject matter experts on these constituents.

Second, we aim to select one top ranked STEM competency, that was identified in the first aim, to assess, monitor and develop systematically. Accordingly, a learning progression of one essential competency will be developed and validated. A learning progression is fitting as it combines a developmental pathway based on research with appropriate assessment tasks and pedagogical guides for teachers. Third, we aim to explore how the learning progression can be integrated within the school curriculum. Information will be obtained from qualitative interviews with involved educators. The current project can act as a case study for other schools to model.
