Main Responsibilities

–Report to the Operations Manager

– Check the schedule on a regular basis for arrival times and changes in them

– Gather and transport all supplies needed for the set up of a function including but not limited, silver, china, linen, skirts, glassware, condiments etc.

– Set up buffet tables according to One Paradise and function requirements with a creative flair.

– Properly set all tables, side stations and the back of the house areas for functions according to service standards

– Ensure all condiments including salt, pepper, sugar, flowers, skirts, and candelabra go back to store

– Service all functions including plated, buffet, silver- served or VIP meals, coffee breaks, benefits, theme parties, weddings, receptions, outside catering etc.

– Respond properly in any emergency or safety situation.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving & Transportation:

• Safely drive family members to various destinations including work, appointments, social events, errands, and family outings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times.
• Plan routes to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
• Handle vehicle maintenance (e.g., fuel, oil changes, tire checks) and ensure regular servicing.
• Assist with shopping or picking up items from stores as needed.
• Help with transporting children or other family members when necessary.

Personal Assistance & Household Support:

• Provide general administrative support (scheduling appointments, making reservations, etc.).
• Assist with household errands like grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, etc.
• Handle mail and correspondence, ensuring that important items are brought to the employer’s attention.
• Assist with personal tasks, including but not limited to, event planning, family logistics, and coordination of special requests.
• Ensure a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a personal assistant, driver, or similar role.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities with a positive attitude.
• Discretion, reliability, and trustworthiness are essential.
• Good knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and routes.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance or willingness to learn.
• First aid/CPR certification (preferred but not required).

Job Description:

• Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
• Oversee daily operations of the backend business operations and HR matters, ensure compliance of processes and issues are highlighted.
• Review & analyse daily operational productivity and improve processes and systems.
• Manage the productivity of sales personnel from the level of opportunity, quote to sales closure, to ensure meeting sales expectations.
