Assistant Cook Job Description:

An Assistant Cook, or Assistant Chef ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists Cooks to prepare and arrange food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything required to run the kitchen efficiently.

Assistant Cook experience requirements

Assistant Cooks have no specific work experience requirements. However, employers prefer candidates who have worked with a cook or have experience in a kitchen-related role. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience required:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar role

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as MS Business Central, Accpac, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
• Service-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
