• Track issues identified by Internal Audit and external auditors, and monitor implementation progress of management action plans. Conduct validation review on management remediation actions to address control deficiencies.
• Assist in developing Annual Internal Audit Plan using a risk-based approach.
• Assist in the preparation of deliverables such as audit reports and presentation materials to Management and Audit Committee

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from a recognised university or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA). Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA and/or CFE would be an advantage. Candidates with Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Building Management university degree or professional qualification will also be considered.
• Relevant experience in internal or external audit of at least 1 year (or at least 3 years internal or external audit experience for Senior Internal Audit Executive with solid understanding of internal controls and corporate governance.) Experience in construction or engineering services industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Knowledge in tableau or other data analytics tools (e.g. ACL, IDEA, Power BI, etc) will be an advantage.

• Maintaining effective and regular communication with senior team members on client engagements.
• Analysing, preparation and review of audit documentation for corporate governance and financial reporting in accordance with applicable frameworks.

Qualifications and requirements

• Graduates from Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience with data analytic tools is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRAS and ISA.
• Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
• Able to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities while working with a team.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
• Integrity and professionalism in a professional setting.
• Singapore residency and able to work in Singapore.
