About This Role:-

The CRO is a senior executive responsible for the effective independent oversight of AsiaNext Exchange’s risks, under the direction of the Board of Directors. The CRO’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement a risk management framework with appropriate tools for the measurement, reporting and control of AsiaNext’s financial and non-financial risks. The CRO, with input from the CEO and management, will develop a risk appetite framework (as per the Board’s stated risk tolerance) expressed in a limit structure for all Exchange services. The Opportunity

Job Description

• Maintain all fiscal records and accounts for SEA Office for funds and cooperator contributions per guidelines and USDA/FAS regulations.
• Reconcile account balances with general ledger; analyze and correct variances
• Prepare all expense report vouchers and supporting documentation
• Prepare periodic or annual financial reports
• Timely closure of books
• Meeting deadline for entering transactions and carrying out reconciliations
• Monitor and ensure compliance regulations regarding expenditures, contracts, travel and other activities
• Manage number of unmatched invoices and explanations
• Monitor unsettled items in accounting (aging lots loaded without AP matching, blocked invoices etc.) and initiate analyses and actions required for their resolution
• Organize and maintain all filing systems, i.e. fiscal, marketing reports, letters and periodicals; participate in the development and formulation of administrative plans regarding new and proposed changes to existing administrative resources, including office equipment assets
• Other ad-hoc activities as per assigned by direct reporting manager

The Talent

• Recognised Diploma/ Degree in Finance or Accountancy, CA/ ACCA or equivalent
• Min 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Able to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders (all levels)
• Microsoft Office literacy essential (strong excel skills - e.g. pivot table, v/h lookup, etc
