About the role

Accounts Officer/Executive, Income Audit (Open to Fresh Graduates)

You will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the hotel’s financial performance. Key responsibilities include verifying and reporting hotel revenues, reviewing supporting documentation submitted to the Accounting team, and preparing the Daily Revenue Report. • Reconcile income against respective ledger balances in the PMS system (guest ledger, city ledger, and deposit ledger), address discrepancies promptly, and escalate unresolved issues.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to confirm that balances align with the outstanding credit card balance per the reconciliations.
• Ensure post-departure allowances are properly documented, approved as per local policy, and included in the SR-5 report.
• Regularly review General Ledger accounts for Room, Food & Beverage, Amusement, and General Sales and Value Added Taxes, preparing a monthly summary of activity.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to approve the summary, comparing taxable revenue on the monthly P&L statement to the liability balance at month-end, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Safeguard the hotel’s assets by reviewing credits issued by the Rooms and Food & Beverage Division, ensuring they serve a valid business purpose and have proper managerial approval.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Partner in managing audit client portfolio, audit team, job planning,

financial reporting, technical advisories and resource allocation

Responsible for technical aspects of audit department including monitoring of work processes,

Supervise and guide audit staff to ensure technical skills and compliance are up to date

Ensure audits are completed on time and reports according to Singapore FRS requirement.
