We are looking for a motivated bioinformatics specialist who is keen on studying how microbes contribute to common skin diseases such as eczema and acne. Our lab is focused on leveraging new technologies to better study microbial populations and their impact on human health. We have extensive experience in metagenomic analysis in clinically or commercially important contexts such as uncovering distinct microbial communities in households affected by paediatric eczema (PMID: 35318044) and revealing the microbial basis of body odour in teenagers (PMID: 30497517). We are now focusing on applying various -omics capabilities to larger sized disease cohorts to understand how microbial pathways and biomarkers change with disease progression and treatment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, with unique access to next-generation sequencing technologies and a wide range of samples. The Digital Solutions and Innovation (DSI) team within the Citi Internal Audit Innovation function is looking for a Data Analytics Lead Analyst (Vice President) to join the Analytics and Automation (A&A) Team. The Analytics and Automation function works with members of Internal Audit to identify opportunities, design, develop and implement analytics in support or the performance of audit activities, along with automation activities to promote efficiencies and expand coverage. The candidate must be proficient in the development and use of analytics technology and tools to provide analytical insight and automated solutions to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness and have functional knowledge of banking processes and related risks and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participating in the innovative use of audit analytics through direct participation in all phases of audits
• Leadership and subject matter expertise in the development of audit processes improvements.

The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a large scale population-based health research project by the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. We are looking for a team player with experience in making outbound calls to people who signed up their interest to join SPHS research studies, screen their eligibility and schedule their study visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contact potential participants by call, message, email or mail.
2. Screen participants for their eligibility.
3. Explain the study information to ascertain their willingness to take part before scheduling an appointment.
4. Book a suitable appointment or schedule for follow-up to do so later.
5. Audio-record all calls for QC purposes.
6. Make at least 5 bookings per day and fill slots only in the immediate 2 weeks.
7. Address any queries from the participant and provide any necessary informational materials to facilitate the study visit.

Qualifications

1. Diploma in any discipline and minimum 3 years of any work experience, or 'O' levels with minimum 10 years of working experience.
2. Work hours are required for afternoons and evenings on weekdays and at least 2 weekends per month.

3. Hourly rate at $13, for 24 - 36 hours of work per week.
4. Familiar with using Zoom (video call, audio-recording, changing shared screens and mouse control)
