Responsibilities

1. Perform technical verification checks on customers’ income documents to process customers’ unsecured facilities creation or maintenance in Bank’s operating systems

2. Toggle between different systems to perform pre-processing and data entries for customer’s unsecured facilities creation

3. Lead/Participate the team in providing ideas/initiatives in digitalization of processes and automation improvement

4. Identify operational risks and implement measures to address/mitigate the risk

5. Ensure all requests are processed within specified Service standards – timely and accurately

6. Manage operational issues and provide timely escalations to management team

7. Review & update system reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis

8. Challenge status quo and execute changes in an effective manner

9. Data-driven and structured in using data to perform analyses

10. Provide insights through data visualization and presentations to deliver productivity gains – identifying root cause and problem statements to solutionize

As a Senior Associate/ Experienced Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of subject matter experts with extensive industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues and be the catalyst to help shape a new governance and risk paradigm and identify areas of potential performance improvement. About you:

• At least 3-5 years of external audit, internal audit or IT audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 Accounting Firm and/or commercial organisations’ in-house internal audit department.
• Degree in Accounting or Business Management (with accounting specialisation). For candidates with other degree specialisations, candidates should have obtained or are in the process of pursuing Singapore CA, ICAEW, CIA or CISA accreditations.
• Strong communication skills in English and one other second language (both oral and written)
• Proficient in MS Office suit (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and has experience in use of various Enterprise Resource Planning software
• Professional services experience with clients in Singapore and/or other countries in the Asia Pacific regions.

• Supervise the FP&A team to ensure that data is regularly updated and maintained accurately and promptly.
• Direct the FP&A team in completing and analysing the company’s financials, including P&L analysis, cost variance analysis, and budget vs. actual performance assessments.
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling, including cash flow forecasting, project evaluations, cost-benefit analysis, and investment appraisals.
• Find opportunities for process improvements in the FP&A function.

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for the planning, organizing and executing audits for the Great Eastern Group of Companies. Being part of the Audit team, you will need to provide an independent and objective assurance to improve the Group’s operations.

The Job

· Ensures coverage of relevant regulatory requirements and recommends improvements to corporate policies, procedures and practices;

· Leads or participates in the planning for each audit assignment to ensure performance of audit assignments, quality of reports and timeliness of deliverables;

Job Responsibilities:

• Timely processing of bilateral and syndication loans drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, repayment and facility fees collection.

Job Purpose:
The person will conduct agency reviews and trend analysis to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement, and implement enhanced framework for the distribution reps so that they can conduct proper sales advisory processes for their policyholders and provide them with quality advice and suitable recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for day-to-day operations by assisting in the team’s functions
• Assist in monitoring competency standards required of supervisors and representatives to ensure alignment with regulatory and industry guidelines
• Ensure timely reviews and follow up with representatives on cases triggered by Company approved monitoring system, and information via other sources reported to the department
• Assist in developing and implementing communication plans on competency standards
• Engage and coach representatives and supervisors in areas of sales activity, quality of sales / sales management, and training needs as and when required
• Perform trend analysis to detect potential sales advisory and market conduct risks
• Address all queries and concerns from various internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in the execution of special projects / initiatives
• Updating of SOPs and internal guidelines when required
• Perform other work as required to meet business needs
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices

Requirements:

• Degree in related discipline (Banking/ Business/ Finances/ Accounting) preferred
• 1-2 years of compliance / audit experience in Financial Services or insurance industry would be an added advantage
• CMFAS qualification (M5, M9, M9A and HI) would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Meticulous, professional, able to work well independently and as a team
