Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Engineering or any equivalent professional qualification related to Quality, Environment, Health & Safety
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Certificates
Active registration with MOM as WSHO
Minimum 3 years employment in similar capacity in construction or engineering environment previously.

Join a dynamic IT Governance Team responsible for managing the development and maintenance of IT services for our client. As an IT Service Management Officer, you will oversee critical areas such as stakeholder management, IT service delivery, incident resolution, IT security compliance, and configuration management. You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver operational excellence while ensuring alignment with policies, standards, and best practices.
This role requires a self-driven professional with extensive experience in IT project management, technical support, and service governance. You should possess strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, coupled with technical expertise in Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and related enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Service Management
Monitor and report on SLA/KPI performance of assigned systems to ensure compliance with client expectations.
Collaborate with stakeholders, operations managers, and contractors to support project delivery and system maintenance.
Address operational concerns and compliance matters, proposing effective resolutions.
Prepare and present monthly progress reports on system health, risks, and change or service requests.
Participate in management meetings, including CCC, Operations, Service Review, and Audit discussions.
Support audit, disaster recovery (DR), business continuity planning (BCP), and backup exercises.
Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Configuration Management
Periodically review IT asset inventories, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Oversee hardware and software obsolescence at the system family level and provide regular reports to clients.
Incident Management
Lead the investigation, resolution, and documentation of incidents.
Conduct root cause analyses for recurring issues and propose preventive measures to clients.
IT Security Management
Schedule and oversee security scans, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified and rectified in a timely manner.
Conduct weekly security reviews on system access and administrative activities, escalating unusual patterns to the SMO Head Office.
Track, mitigate, and deploy security patches as per policy timelines, maintaining monthly oversight reports.
Escalate risk assessments and seek client approvals for risk acceptance when necessary.
IT Security Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure systems adhere to applicable standards, policies, directives, and guidelines.
Prepare and declare compliance reports annually to the SMO Head Office.
Collaborate with stakeholders during audits to provide evidence, responses, and rectification plans for identified gaps.
Maintain organized records of policies, directives, deliverables, and quality assurance documentation for audit purposes.
Work with clients on system enhancements to meet policy changes and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in IT project management.
Strong familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in IT business analysis techniques and stakeholder management.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange (2013/2016/2019) and Active Directory in enterprise environments.
Proficiency in supporting server infrastructures, including Windows Server (2012/2016), Skype for Business (2015), and related technologies.
Technical Expertise
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook client support, SMTP mail routing, DNS, and OWA.
Familiarity with Network Management Information System (NMIS) tools.
Experience in IT security practices, compliance management, and incident resolution.
Soft Skills
Self-motivated, with a positive "can-do" attitude and a strong ability to lead and build trustful relationships.
Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications
ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification in IT Service Management.

Main Responsibilities.
Assist the Chief Accountant to handle full sets of accounts. Ensuring accounting records of AR and AP are maintained accurately, efficiently and timely manner.
Accounts Payable (AP) Related Tasks
1. General Ledger Maintenance:
Ensure all postings to the hotel’s Sun System general ledgers are supported by properly authorized and documented journal vouchers.
2. Reconciliation:
Review balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliation statements, and control account reconciliations for month-end closing.
Cross-check transactions from EPB, Sun Systems etc and journalize monthly summaries for posting.
Validate or verify accuracy of Inventory reports from different departments such as Housekeeping, F&B etc
3. Fixed Assets Management:
Ensure hotel’s assets are properly maintained and recorded in the fixed asset register and general ledger.
Verify depreciation computations and the disposal of fixed assets.
4. Tax and Statutory Reporting (AP Side):
Ensure all tax returns, such as quarterly GST returns and yearly F1 Cess returns, are prepared and checked on time for Accountant’s verification and submission to FC.
5. Regulations and Procedures:
Ensure adherence to standard accounting practices and internal control for all payments and expenses.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Related Tasks
1. General Ledger Maintenance:
Ensure revenue recognition and receivables are accurately recorded and documented in the general ledger.
2. Reconciliation:
Review revenue-related accounts and ensure receivable balances are reconciled monthly.
Cross-check monthly transaction from Opera to Sun Systems summaries for receivables posting.
3. Tax and Statutory Reporting (AR Side):
Assist the Accountant in computing GST/taxes related to revenue by providing details such as revenue analysis.
General Cashiering
1. Cashier Reconciliation:
Balance the Cash Machine and Float transactions in Opera for each Front Office team member. Ensure Duty Managers sign off on all payouts and deposits received.
2. Transaction Monitoring:
Track Cash Machine activity, ensuring all withdrawals and deposits are valid.
3. Address Discrepancies:
Report any cash discrepancies to the Duty Manager, Front Office, Accountant, Financial Controller, and General Manager. Resolve issues within 24 hours.
4. Cash Count:
Conduct surprise cash counts of floats and the Cash Machine monthly, ideally twice a month with the Accountant or Financial Controller.
5. Cash Limits and Deposits:
Keep the Cash Machine balance below $20k, including cash floats. Deposit any excess in the bank with a Security Officer present.
6. Record Keeping:
Save scanned copies of all bank and cash machine slips in the “Banking Matters” folder for audit and records.
General Finance and Administrative Tasks
1. Internal Control:
Assist in establishing and reviewing procedures for internal controls and accounting systems regularly.
2. Audit:
Assist in preparation of annual profit and loss, cash flow, trial balance and balance sheet for audit purposes.
Work with external and internal auditors on the audit of financial statements.
Collect required audit information, address adjustments, and respond to auditor queries.
