• Will be trained for advanced analytical equipment operation

• Will work in lab environment and conduct analysis for various customers independently;

• Being able to prepare samples in needs and ensure the quality of the work and trouble-shoot the causes when problem occurs;

• Being able to write analytical reports;

• Spearheading all aspects of surface analysis activities for the company;

• Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs;

• Communicate with customer for selecting proper analytical techniques and data interpretation;

• Participate in ISO17025 in maintaining the system

Job Description

In 2021 the Singapore Hybrid-Integrated Next-Generation micro-Electronics (SHINE) Center was established.

One of the projects in SHINE focusses on developing the technology and demonstrators for Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave applications on flexible substrates.

As part of this project, we have a position for a research engineer with proven knowledge and experience in researching, designing, and testing of microwave circuits and subsystems.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering
• Several years of experience in the simulation and design of microwave circuits and subsystems.
• Experience with tools such as ADS and HFSS.
• Experience with measurement of microwave circuits using VNAs.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Open to fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Glory meets all contracted obligations, response times, repair times, Preventive Maintenance, minimise repeat call
• Get involved with day to day Repair activities when the workload suggests an SLA breach
