Role Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible to provide engineering subject matter expertise support to the manufacturing plants, utilities and site facilities operation to ensure consistent product supply and deliver production target. You will be entrusted with the responsibility to ensure maximum plant capabilities through continuous improvement so that equipment and facilities will be optimized in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Engineering Practice and in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as EHSS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational plant troubleshooting efforts and investigation of production process, equipment, systems and code/configuration
• Provides support for the development of new product launch, new capabilities and optimization operational project initiatives to facilitate technical transfer of new program into manufacturing and provide the automation solution
• Provides technical support for new equipment/process start-ups and operation
• Provide operational support to the GMP processes including some off-hours on-call support
• Perform Root Cause Analysis, develop corrective and preventive actions and develop technical solutions to prevent recurrence
• Make changes to manufacturing process control under strict GMP change control management process to optimize processes and maintain compliance
• Responsible for the execution of all design, build and run activities
• Ensure robust testing of new configuration features based on structure risk assessments
• Work closely with stakeholder to ensure production supply
• Collaborate with cross functional team to resolve incidents, events or deviations
• Update or develop standard operating procedures, work instructions, functional / design specifications associated with automation process control.
• Promote Safety, Quality and Compliance culture and continuous improvement mindset that lead to plant safety, quality and compliance to regulatory requirement
• Support engineering process performance management, audit and inspection
• Provide training to plant personnel on automation control process
• Support Service Owner and System Owner roles for DeltaV within the company

What you will do

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and incorporate PLC and SCADA control systems tailored to project specifications.
• Integrate intelligent sensors, machine PLCs, HMI, and SCADA with SCHOTT standard software to gather data and monitor machine or production performance, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Focus on retrofitting PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, primarily using Siemens technology.
• Collaborate closely with the Operation Technology (OT) team in Germany, production teams, other global plants to setup / roll out new projects within the SCHOTT OT architecture (training will be provided).
• Support on machine trouble shooting when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, with >2years of experience.
• Proficient understanding of automation technologies such as PLCs and SCADA, industrial protocols including OPC-UA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP, as well as basic network architecture.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experienced in using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, and HMI programming. Capable of reading and writing Siemens S7 PLC (ladder) codes and programming HMI touch panels or SCADA systems (WinCC) or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in programming languages like C++, Python, and basic PC-based control systems including C++, C#, .NET, and embedded systems development.
• Hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Process Control Systems (PCS).
• Logical thinker and quick learner.
• Familiarity with SQL and Linux OS is beneficial.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Robotics is also advantageous.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Automation Engineer to drive and maintain various Martech API integrations. You’ll be part of the global Revenue Systems team (also managing Salesforce, ABM, and other sales and marketing tooling) and will play a critical role in elevating our Martech stack, especially by driving adoption of modern AI tools to improve effectiveness. You’re a resourceful, creative go-getter who is eager to help shape the next phase of Airwallex’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations that connect various platforms with our marketing automation tool to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across integrated platforms.
• Monitor the performance of integrations, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot problems to ensure uninterrupted operation of marketing automation processes.
• Ensure that all integrations and data handling processes comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal security policies.
• Stay updated on new API features, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing automation. Propose and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency and effectiveness, including prudent uses of AI technology.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience working with Marketing Automation tools (at least 2+ years of Marketo experience) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce). Familiarity with tools similar to Workato or Zapier is a plus.
• A track record of building reliable API integrations between different platforms, combined with a strong understanding of data flows and technical limitations between platforms.
• A good understanding of different Marketing tools and platforms, and how they contribute to the Martech stack and Marketing’s effectiveness.
• Strong analytical skills, a data driven orientation, and uncompromising attention to detail.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
• An ability to navigate ambiguity and remain adaptable. An entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
• Adobe Marketo Engage certification and basic SQL skills are good to have.

• Assemble, troubleshoot, and install stations, ensuring correct pre-alignment and machine performance with support from the Manufacturing Manager.
• Deliver technical training to customers on hardware, pneumatics, setup, and maintenance processes.
• Assist with installations at customer sites and create project documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to meet deadlines, budgets, and share technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in the automation or machine building industry.
• Familiar with project documentation and preparing manufacturing documents.
