• Prepare Telecoms systems block diagram sketches
• Review telecoms systems studies such as PAGA coverage study, radio coverage study, VSAT link calculation, fiber optic link budget, etc
• Prepare requisition and perform technical bid evaluation of Telecoms Systems
• Perform telecoms power consumption, heat dissipation, and weight estimation
• Liaise with clients to resolve engineering comments and provide solutions
• Coordinate with other disciplines and contractors on systems interfaces

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecommunications)
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Telecoms Detailed Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably on offshore projects
• Knowledge of international regulations, codes, and standards affecting Telecoms Systems
• Knowledge of Telecoms studies and calculations
• Proficient in writing Telecoms specifications
• Team player who can interact effectively with colleagues from other disciplines, clients, and suppliers
