Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Involved in the full cycle of development for reference board, modules and product solutions.
• Design, simulate, develop and test electronic modules & systems containing various interfaces, including microcontrollers, SOC, wireless, memory system, networking and power control sub system and etc.
• Generate documentations regarding concepts, specifications, schematics, test reports, verification report etc.
• Work as a team and coordinate closely with Software team, Marketing team and customers to deliver projects on time.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in electronics hardware design, or minimum 10 years’ experience for senior role.
• Good knowledge in digital & analogue circuits, ultra-low power, audio system, power management, wireless & RF design, high speed computing technology etc.
• Experience on detailed electronics design, implementation & testing or complex PCBA designs, power integrity, signal integrity, design for test / manufacture & quality, wireless integration, etc.
• Strong hands on experience on hardware test, issue isolation, and debug
• Knowledge on test and support for product certifications

Job Description & Requirements

1.Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.

2.Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.

3.Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level

4.Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.

5.Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.

6.Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.

• Over 8 years of network engineer experience with the following skills and competencies:

• Protocols : TCP/IP UDP, DHCP, PPP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRp, NAT, AAA, IPSec, Radius, SNMP
