Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Ensure all fabrication work is done with acceptable quality by daily monitoring include inspecting according to specification, procedure and applicable standards.

Competence Requirement

Job Description

• Develop and create 2D and 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, ensure that piping designs are optimized for efficiency, ease of maintenance, and compliance with project and industry standards
• Create detailed piping layouts and general arrangements for the plant, ensuring that pipe routing minimizes interference with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) and optimizes space utilization

The Lead Resident Engineer shall be in the discipline of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control in delivery of large scale power generation project. Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction materials, processes, and workmanship throughout a project. Job Description

• The candidates should be engineering trained.
• He/she is to maintain good relationship with existing customers and develop new businesses for the sale of company products (e.g. pumps & spare parts).
• Knowledge of handling tender documents, technical documentation and manual would be an added advantage.
• Daily tasks includes the handling of RFQ, attending to technical queries, provide technical solutions etc.
• Travelling within the region may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate in Engineering.
• With or without relevant experience as training will be provided.

Your Job:

• Plan and execute all Preventive Maintenance regime for Mechanical related system.
• Supervise and coordinate work with vendors on Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and Ad-hoc Maintenance.
• Assist system Engineers on Mechanical system trouble shooting such as, process exhaust system, HVAC, Chilled Water system, Chilles etc.
• Assist Engineer in coordinating general mechanical repair works such as motors, pumps bearing replacement, pumps mechanical seal replacement, heat exchanger cleaning, pump overhaul etc.
• Assist Engineer in Mechanical predictive maintenance work such as vibration monitoring.
• Assist Engineer Corrosion control program such as piping thickness monitoring, corroded piping replacement program, equipment structure in cooling tower, scrubber yard, roof top area.
• Specialize in one of the M & E, systems to improve, enhance PM activities and provide suggestion on system design.
• Attend all schedule training for GlobalFoundries compulsory courses and in-house training conduct by vendors.
• Participate in weekly meeting for job planning, outstanding works/issues discussion and share knowledge and group discussion on resolving issues or incident.
• Prepare daily Permit to Work and verify on site and ensure good housekeeping before and after maintenance works.
• Ensure safety regulations are complied.

Required Qualifications:

• ITC / Diploma / Degree course (Mechanical / Electrical & Controls / Chemical Engineering
• At least 2 years of work experience on M&E
• Hands-on working skills e.g., troubleshooting skills

Job Description:

• Update and control of Mechanical Engineering specification,procedure and drawings in CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system).
• Register, control and maintenance of assets management in CMMS.
• Material Management including consumables,parts and spare units in CMMS.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, record and report in CMMS.
• Review and approve of service, repair and overhaul equipment, record and report.
• Managing staff “shift or on-call' work as necessary.
• Planning and supervising scheduled maintenance, improvement and investment works.
• Contract and evaluation of cost including technical proposal on improvement and investment works.
• Managing vendors, suppliers and contractors including performance appraisal.
• Managing staff KPI (Key Performance Indicator), appraisal and training plan.
• Ensuring compliance with machinery and equipment statutory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance Reliability Engineering field.
• At least 6 years of working experience in engineering with EPC/EPCM contractors or in Operation & Maintenance in the Oil, Petrol or Chemical plant or similar.
• Knowledge in Refractory repair work is an advantage.
• Strong desire to work in a leading edge industrial environment with a strong focus on reliability and efficiency.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Auto Cad, CMMS, etc.
• Able to work independently and in a team to achieve departmental goal of lean production.
