Key Responsibilities:

The System Engineer is responsible to monitor and resolve all issues related to company IT & related systems (hosted on premise and on cloud).

Act as a single point of contact for all reported IT & related system issues and queries related. Take full responsibilities to escalate and work with IT/Systems vendors to resolve reported issues within SLA.

The System Engineer will assist the IT Infrastructure Manager to maintain, support and optimized key functional areas such as network, server, data & telecommunications system, video conferencing equipment and security.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

IT Support and Management

· Ensure the smooth running of all IT & related systems (on premise and on cloud)

Requirements

· Diploma in Computer Engineering or related

· At least 2-3 years of working experience with systems (on premise and cloud technologies)

· Experience in one or more of the following domains: Microsoft Windows & Servers technologies, Cisco networking, WAN technologies (SD-WAN), Security, Virtualization, Storage, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud based technologies

The Research Engineer will work closely with the team to develop flatsheet and hollow fibre membranes for organic solvent nanofiltration applications. Position Overview:

The Design Engineer will be part of the Central Project Engineering team supporting our aftermarket pump upgrade and retrofit design engineering jobs across the Asia Pacific region. This position will provide technical support in retrofit proposals, hydraulic and engineering analysis, and order fulfilment jobs.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform mechanical design work to create engineering drawings based on sound engineering practices, and if required, precision measurements.

2. Perform technical calculations to support high order value upgrade jobs/ root cause analysis

3. Support order fulfillment of the successful upgrade and retrofit jobs by attending kick-off meetings and managing design workload.

4. Review customer orders to ensure they are acceptable relative to the engineering design work scope and delivery previously proposed.

5. Interact with Central Project Engineering teams in other regions and Product Engineering in respective Business Units to leverage on their expertise to develop the scope of work to upgrade pumping equipment.

6. Provide technical support to the Solutions Engineering and Quick Response Center (QRC) teams for pump upgrades and/or repairs, and assure that the proposed solution meets technical and performance requirements of customers in a professional and timely manner.

7. Understand the nature and purpose of the pump upgrade and evaluate the customer operational requirements in accordance with design specifications and standards.

8. Support preparation of Aftermarket Change Notice (ACN) related to scope of work involved in order fulfillment of the successful upgrade and retrofit jobs.

· Schedule and execute these jobs.

· Supervise and manage workers under your charge

Job Requirement

· ITE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

· Experience in executing electrical installation projects for buildings (school/nursing home project preferred).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for generating reports.

· Able to speak and write English.

· Ability to work independently and within timeframe

· Self-discipline, good analytical skills, meticulous with an eye for details

· Good knowledge on workplace safety

· Intermediate knowledge of Autocad / BIM

Role Responsibilities

To manage and coordinate the production of quality shop drawings and BIM models in all projects assigned with minimal supervision. He/ She must be able to carry out HVAC/piping, equipment, pumps, dryer, filter & valves related drawings will be added advantages.

• To produce 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Project or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and that the drawing submission schedule is achieved.
• Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, etc.
• BIM Register following the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures and ensuring all the drawings are completed on schedule or promptly.
• Perform regular drawing backups and housekeeping work in the directory
• The secondary role includes developing technical plans, sections, details, and 2D/3D schematic diagrams using AutoCAD and in-house software.
• Accountable for the fluent/organized presentation, content correctness/accuracy of shop drawings production in form, fit, and function through thorough coordinates with other trades and services in 2D/ 3D submission.
• Responsible for ensuring full compliance with the company’s Shop Drawings Standard Operation Procedure, including adherence to design provision/scope of work according to contractual obligations.
• Generate a clash report based on the Matrix provided
• Work under the supervision of the Project Manager and perform the work tasks assigned.

Experience / Skills

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in space planning, and design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects within engineering design consulting business.
• Having good knowledge of software such as Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge in Isometric drawings, LOD 350, and Plant 3D will be added advantages
• Good planning skills in managing modeling and drafting work.
• Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within a team environment when required.
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates with construction field experience is an added advantages

• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and other necessary documents for tenders and bids.
• Communicate with sub-vendors (such as motor, coupling, and other suppliers).
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to clarify project requirements, address technical queries, and ensure understanding of the offered solution.
• Identify potential application issues, ensuring the correct pump selection and system integration.
• Collaborate and support the sales process by offering technical expertise during meetings, presentations, and customer negotiations.
• Skill for rotating machine trouble shooting.
• Experience for Vibration Analyst
• Experience working in rotating machine industry more than 5 years.
