Job Responsibilities:
- Deploy and provide professional services: This includes, but is not limited to, the implementation and upgrading of Cybersecurity products that Netpoleon distributes. Occasionally, this will involve managing customers and timelines.
- Provide workable solutions: Offer solutions (or alternatives) based on customers’ requirements.
- Conduct product training: Provide training on our products to customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Perform installations and configurations: Carry out installations and configurations independently using product manuals.
- Upskill and certification: You will upskill and obtain technical certifications for the products or technologies you handle, as applicable.
- Subject matter expertise: Over time, become a subject matter expert to assist in transferring domain knowledge and technical skills to our maintenance team to better support our customers.
- Technical assistance: Support the sales and support teams in technical matters, such as product feature clarification, implementation considerations, tender compliance, and other ad-hoc situations.
- Troubleshoot server, application, and network-related problems: Diagnose and resolve issues affecting servers, applications, and networks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network security infrastructure, configurations, and incident response activities. Generate comprehensive reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts for management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Positive and professional working attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of handling stress, meeting tight deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Nitec/Higher Nitec certificate, Diploma or Degree in IT, IS, Cyber Security, or related fields.
- Good fundamental knowledge in Networking.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructures such as Firewalls, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, DNS, Email Security, Log Management, SIEM, Virtualization, Containers, AWS, Azure, Google cloud, DevOps/DevSecOps, Privilege Account Security, Identify Access Management, Endpoint Security, CyberArk Conjur.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in staying updated on cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Proficiency in programming language like Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash scripting, and Power Shell is advantageous.
- Compliance with Company Information Security Standards.
Other Information:
- Working hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday*
- Training consisting of in-house and vendor-led will be provided. Additional sponsored training available to confirmed staffs subject to performance assessment.
- This position is suitable for individuals with a strong technical foundation but limited professional experience. Recent graduates or those seeking to transition into a technical role are encouraged to apply.
