Key Responsibilities

• Review Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and collaborate with the solutioning team to provide feedback and validate improvements.
• Participate in DevOps and Security domain discussions as part of your responsibilities.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation solutions using Terraform to manage both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
• Conduct regular code reviews, perform testing, and maintain documentation to ensure the reliability and repeatability of infrastructure deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure automation issues to minimise downtime and optimise system performance.
• Act as a hands-on technical advisor, mentoring peers and providing guidance on best practices for infrastructure automation and DevOps processes.
• Design and implement automation improvements to support large-scale Linux, Windows, SAN storage, and virtualisation environments (e.g., VMware).
• Perform provisioning and automation enhancements through scripting (e.g., Bash and Python) and centralised management tools.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role, with a focus on infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience adopting cloud security tools like Azure Security Centre and Sentinel.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and solutioning concepts for engaging in design discussions.
• Expertise in using Terraform to manage cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• High proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and configuration management tasks.
• Experience supporting virtualised environments on centralised storage solutions (e.g., Nutanix, VMware vSphere).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and infrastructure architecture.
• Strong operating systems management skills, with proven experience in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration; Windows administration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems. Design system architecture, design specification, control strategies, and library development.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Supporting manufacturing operations for day-to-day support for DeltaV system.
• Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes.

Requirements:

Adept with networking knowhow, best practices and be able to troubleshoot all industrial networking protocols which includes but not limited to Ethernet/IP, Profibus, ProfiNet, Fieldbus, DeviceNet, etc.
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Network Infrastructure, Windows Active Directory and Domain Controller, Cybersecurity Architecture, Cluster Administration tools, Backup and Restoration tools.
• Experience in the designing and commissioning of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems automation projects for GMP manufacturing site. exposure to Siemens PCS7 or S7 is preferred. Knowledge on Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience or Rockwell Pharma experience is advantageous.
• Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc) and Siemens PCS7 or S7 with Batch exposure is required.
• Strong understanding of CSV documentation for Pharma projects
• Thorough understanding of Physical and Procedural Layer design, development and qualification.
