Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works.
• Liaise with consultants for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
• Handing of technical and engineering problems.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary.
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
• Other ad-hoc assigned by the Company.
• Good attitude and relevant working experience.

Requirements:

• Recognised Certificate in the relevant field subject.
• Min. 3yrs experience in the construction site.
• Independent with good communication skill.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills and team work.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts.

Job Description

· Project planning and management.

· Ensure timely completion of projects and execute project tasks within the agreed timescales and budget.

· Responsible for site supervision, safety, resource planning, coordination works and testing & commissioning.

· Plan, coordinate and monitor orders and deliveries.

· Work with sales team to ensure design plan and output meet customers’ requirements.

· Ability to handle combination of projects concurrently at times with respective project technical leads on-site.

· Liaise with customer, vendors, M&E consultants, and project team to ensure quality control, customer satisfaction and projects are completed on time.

· Initiate, implement, and document new processes/ procedures to improve quality, cost, and productivity of the project.

· Liaise with M&E consultants and vendor.

· Adhere to ISO procedures and standards.

· Handle ad hoc assignments or tasks as required.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business management, or related area of study.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
• Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing and internally facing products or services.
• PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software programs.

Job Description

Perform mechnical & piping design review, technical agreement review and other engineering related matters for new building and conversion projects

Job Requirements or Responsibilities

• To support project in addresings engineering issues involving designers and classifications.
• To perform TA review in accordance with the contractual requirement and review schedule.
• To conduct an integration meeting involving pertinent parties for the purpose of design integration.
• To scrutinize all drawings received from supplier and designers, and provide comment as per contractual requirements, rules & regulations and operational practice

- Propose alternative design to substitute tender design that is practical, liable, cost-saving and conforms to relevant building code of practice.

- Liaise with client, architect, consultant, and main contractor for any site issues to ensure timely project execution. To represent the Company at site meetings and other meetings as required.

- Responsible for site coordination workers and to make accurate, decisive, and prompt decisions relating to work matters. Feedback to management on site problems for corrective actions to be taken.

- To ensure details in subcontracts, purchase orders are accurate and meet with the project specifications in covering the full scope of work intended and required by the main contract.

- Efficient project management which includes project scheduling, lead, and co-ordinate the whole project team which include supervisors, foreman, workers and subcontractors.

- Source for more competitive costs in equipment and subcontractor costs to minimize project cost and capital utilization.

- Responsible for preparation, checking and submission of shop drawings before commencement of installation works and as-built drawings upon completion. The drawings shall provide for the openings through building structures for the passage of M & E services and shall ensure conformance to regulation and clients’ requirements.

- Submission of monthly progress claim to clients and monitoring of variation works, avoid wide differential in claim and payment amounts. To finalize project accounts and variation claims early for client’s verification and payment.

- To monitor the progress of work on site and recommend, if appropriate, the interim payment certification to supplier/subcontractors proposed by the designated Project Engineer.

- To access, recommend and recruit suitable subcontractors and work force to provide quality engineering services to our clients.

- To be readily involved in tender estimation, variation quotation and costing preparation and assist the project manager in the preparation of budgetary statement.

- Responsible for all correspondences with the clients, authorities, main-contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants, etc.

- To be actively involved with quality management system of the company.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by higher management or superior.

Job Requirements:

- Degree or Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- Have more than 3 years or dible experiences in ACMV system.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and BIM.

- Independent, diligent, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and cope in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
