In this role, you'll demonstrate your expertise as you develop and implement cutting-edge preventive maintenance programmes and conservation practices. Working closely with property management, you'll oversee major M&E projects, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery. You'll be responsible for producing comprehensive facility management reports and presenting them to key stakeholders. Additionally, you'll establish and maintain a rigorous system of regular inspections, quality control, and supervision of technicians, and sub-contractors.
You'll take the lead in providing the client with comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services. Your strategic input will be crucial in achieving financial targets, key performance indicators, and service level agreements set by upper management. As a senior engineer, you'll design and implement the 24-hour emergency support system, ensuring rapid and effective responses to any situation that may arise in the prestigious Sentosa Cove community.
Innovating best practices
Your advanced engineering knowledge will be the cornerstone of your success. You'll be expected to optimize the management of on-site mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations, and civil maintenance. You'll develop and maintain a comprehensive database of critical spares for all installations, considering both manufacturer recommendations and your own expertise.
You'll need to demonstrate exceptional competence in providing high-level engineering and technical assessments, leading trouble-shooting efforts, identifying root causes, and developing innovative solutions to be executed by your team, sub-contractors, and other service providers.
You'll design and oversee the implementation of a state-of-the-art maintenance inventory system. Your keen analytical skills will be crucial in predicting potential failures of critical equipment and developing sophisticated, pre-emptive maintenance programmes to mitigate the risk of sudden breakdowns.
You'll also be responsible for modernizing our system of logbooks, checklists, and schedules, potentially integrating digital solutions for improved efficiency. You'll lead the planning and execution of complex, ad-hoc M&E setups based on evolving client requirements in the dynamic environment.

Mastery in the field
You should have earned a degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a master's degree being highly advantageous. A minimum of ten years of experience in facilities management, with at least five years in a senior role, is essential. We expect you to have a proven track record of leading diverse teams and contributing high-level individual expertise. Proficiency in advanced IBMS/BMS systems, including predictive maintenance modules and energy optimization features, is required. In addition, it is essential to have at least 3 years experience in managing a wide land area of luxurious development and familiarity with government procurement processes and system
