Role Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible to provide engineering subject matter expertise support to the manufacturing plants, utilities and site facilities operation to ensure consistent product supply and deliver production target. You will be entrusted with the responsibility to ensure maximum plant capabilities through continuous improvement so that equipment and facilities will be optimized in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Engineering Practice and in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as EHSS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational plant troubleshooting efforts and investigation of production process, equipment, systems and code/configuration
• Provides support for the development of new product launch, new capabilities and optimization operational project initiatives to facilitate technical transfer of new program into manufacturing and provide the automation solution
• Provides technical support for new equipment/process start-ups and operation
• Provide operational support to the GMP processes including some off-hours on-call support
• Perform Root Cause Analysis, develop corrective and preventive actions and develop technical solutions to prevent recurrence
• Make changes to manufacturing process control under strict GMP change control management process to optimize processes and maintain compliance
• Responsible for the execution of all design, build and run activities
• Ensure robust testing of new configuration features based on structure risk assessments
• Work closely with stakeholder to ensure production supply
• Collaborate with cross functional team to resolve incidents, events or deviations
• Update or develop standard operating procedures, work instructions, functional / design specifications associated with automation process control.
• Promote Safety, Quality and Compliance culture and continuous improvement mindset that lead to plant safety, quality and compliance to regulatory requirement
• Support engineering process performance management, audit and inspection
• Provide training to plant personnel on automation control process
• Support Service Owner and System Owner roles for DeltaV within the company

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer specializing in data analysis and network capacity planning. This role is crucial in supporting our network strategy through insightful data-driven decisions, ensuring the smooth performance and scalability of our enterprise network. Reporting to the Network Capacity Planning Product Manager, the Network Engineer will leverage monitoring tools, system logs, and analytical skills to optimize our network's capacity and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with demand management, network teams, and business units to assess current and future network capacity needs aligned with business goals.
• Analyze network traffic, utilization, and performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for improvement, applying predictive analysis to support scalability.
• Partner with network engineers and implementation teams to strategize and execute hardware upgrades or enhancements to the network infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver reports for management, detailing KPIs, utilization metrics, and capacity optimization recommendations.
• Identify potential capacity-related risks and implement strategies to mitigate network congestion, performance issues, and outages.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate capacity planning needs within project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Network Infrastructure: 8+ years in network engineering or operations, particularly in a global network environment, covering routers, switches, LAN/SD-WAN, load balancers, wireless, and cloud networking.
• Analytics: At least 2 years in a role requiring data-driven decision-making, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights.
• Observability and Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with network monitoring and observability tools such as SevOne, LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes, Moogsoft, Dynatrace, NetBrain, and Elastic. Experience with policy administration, parameter fine-tuning, and threshold setting is a plus.
• Programming: Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or Python). Experience with Ansible for automation is a bonus.
• Reporting and Data: Skilled in producing regular capacity reports that highlight actionable items, setting key thresholds, and initiating improvement plans.
• Certifications: ITIL certification preferred.

Job Requirement:

• At least Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
• 0 - 2 Year(s) of experience in sales of products & services, preferably in Engineering Industry

The individual will have a strong background in designing, developing and testing complex hardware systems.

This position involves working across multiple phases of product development cycle, from design to implementation. Responsibilities

1. Design and simulate electronics circuitry, including microcontrollers, SoC, DDR, wire & wireless communication interface and power supply.
2. Circuit draft and schematic capture with popular EDA tools.

Job Description

• Servicing of Gas Detectors and other measuring equipment.
• Ability to trouble-shoot of different brand Gas Detectors and other measuring equipment.
• Testing of Gas Detectors and other measuring equipment.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure committed service work scopes are executed without business interruption.
• Certificates generation and Report generating on all service-related activities.
• Adhere to all legal, customers' and company's safety protocol, rules, and regulations, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment and property, and housekeeping.

For this role, you will need to maintain a good relationship with customers to always achieve positive customers’ satisfaction. The Department Manager and/or Snr. Lead Engineer will assign ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

A team player and work closely with the technical team.

On-the-Job training will be provided, and in-house/principal training will be arranged for the successful hired.

Job Requirement

• Min. Nitec in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering discipline.
• Preferably with 1 year of working experience in Gas Detector servicing or maintenance. However, fresh candidates with no relevant experience are welcome to apply!
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn. Good working attitude. A team player.
• Possessing a Class 3 driving license is a plus.

• Minimum 5+years of experience
• Experience with DevSecOps Tools such as SonarQube, Blackduck, AquaSec, Coverity etc.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows operating system
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as DynaTrace, ELK etc.
• Familiarity with Containers technologies such as Openshift, Tanzu, Docker is a plus.
• Strong understanding of best practices in using the DevOps Tools. Eg, Branching strategy, Artefact Management etc.
