Experience and skills requirements

• Good understanding of cloud security and solutioning concepts to get up to speed on design discussion
• Expertise in using Terraform to manage cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS, Azure).

Certification

A Lead Automation/Systems Engineer at RoviSys will serve as a software or hardware lead on projects, as well as possess the ability to understand functional specifications and/or design specifications and translate that knowledge in the implementation of control systems. A lead engineer will be expected to develop skills required to successfully implement an entire project from both a control system software and hardware standpoint. • Consult with clients on digital transformation strategies within their facilities.
• Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control system to improve efficiency, product quality and profitability of process manufacturing.
• Design Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings.
• Development of P&ID documentation for process clients.
• Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC)/ladder design, distributed control system (DCS) configuration to meet client needs.
• Testing and on-site commissioning of control systems.
