SUMMARY
· This position is responsible for supporting projects leading to the success of project.
· The Project Manager to lead the project team in achieving project goals and gaining high customer satisfaction.
· The Project Manager will ensure the quality of the project is met within the allocated budget and timeline.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Mentor and lead Project Managers in completing projects within allocated resources as assigned by PM Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Including the following with other duties as assigned:
· Responsible for driving customer satisfaction through focus on accountability and quality.
· Be the point of contact for customer to all issues.
· Drives global meetings of project on behalf of customer to assure the success of project.
· Continuous tracking of project performance and schedules of internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
· Validate project workscope, ensure up to date technical scope of work.
· Assure compliance to contract commitments and ensure turnkey design within scope of work.
· Identify out of scope work to sales and initiate CIP to sales if necessary.
· Assure proper coordination between internal departments (all technical project lead) and project stakeholder for technical integration with a project execution plan.
· Coordinate with all project stakeholders and customer to align towards common objectives and goals of the program.
· Integrate stakeholders’ timeline and develop a detail plan with key activities (timeline) into an overall project schedule and ensure all team member, suppliers and customer are fully acceptable to it.
· Understands intermediate regulatory certification requirements and provide recommendation to customer for meeting regulatory certification requirements in the turnkey packages per workscope.
· Create and manage project budgeted resources (hours and hard cost), cost recording, control and forecasting.
· Identifying risk and create risk management analysis with means of stop light chart, etc and present to management during weekly project review meeting.
· Implement and improve good Project Management Tools for effective usage.
· Continuous maintaining the relevance of Project Management Processes & Procedures.
· Overseas travel will be required.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Qualified degree or Masters in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.
· At least 4-5 years experience in aircraft interior reconfiguration engineering.
· Knowledgeable of aircraft and interior reconfiguration engineering requirements.
· Able to read and understand aircraft designs, drawings and specifications.
· Good understanding of Part 25 regulatory and compliance requirements.
· Able to apply knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, equipment allocation/management, complex leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources.
· Able to work in a team environment and accept required roles, responsibilities and accountability.
· Able to multi-task and work independently
