The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of their projects. Projects can range from several small to medium projects or on one very large project. RESPONSIBILITIES 

In this role, you will play a vital part in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects within Messe Berlin Asia Pacific. As a Market Development Manager, you will support project management processes, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the events.

• Responsible for growing the Asia Pacific market base for different projects from different industries.
• Assist in planning, executing, and managing assigned projects from initiation to completion.
• Initiate and manage multiple marketing campaigns tagged to different projects, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Conduct data mining and data research for the development of databases for each project.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Support the sales process, including following up on opportunities and closing deals
• Prepare administrative documents, such as project proposals, budgets, travel schedules, and post-event reports.
• Monitor project progress and address issues or challenges promptly.
• Maintain effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Organise and manage project-related meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
• Organise additional client recruitment effort in different cities under market in charge
• Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures in project implementation.
• Contribute to post-project evaluations and recommendations for future improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Project Management, Events Management, Business Management etc.
• At least 2 years of experience in events and exhibitions or project management role
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
