Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advice to the project staff for the identification, notification and preparation of variations and claims for a time extension and associated loss and expense
• Participating, as necessary, in developing the solicitation and writing all contractual correspondence and documentation. Maintain contractual records and documentations control of all contract correspondence including subcontractors correspondences and reports
• Review of any project related correspondence and proposing a suitable strategy for preparing the response and advising on potential commercial/ contractual implications arising therefrom

Role Overview:

Job Description

• Monitor Contractors' safety performance and participate actively in site safety management in highlighting to the relevant parties on immediate actions to be taken
• Follow up on all safety matters related to Design for Safety (DfS), WSH etc
• Conduct safety inspections including taking photos of unsafe acts and conditions and bringing to main contractor's attention
• Issue and closely follow up on field observation notices including safety non-conformances notices and respond to site incident(s) in ensuring contractors' carry out emergency response as required
• Conduct roving safety inspections, emergency & incident response and facts finding
• Provide daily safety inspection report to OIC
• lead and conduct monthly safety inspection of the Site and submit the report to Superintending Officer
• Organize and participate in regular Safety Site Walk and Inspection with client and stakeholders
• Submit monthly reports on safety indicators & trending analysis on monthly safety performance
• Report any accident/incident/near miss on site to the OIC and provide all necessary detailed information

Criteria

c. Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.

d. Has obtained certificate in development of a Risk Management
