JOB PURPOSE

The role is primarily responsible to assist the Procurement Manager in the management of product sales performance and yield studies of the fresh categories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage all suppliers & contracted partners.
• Monitor product sales, margin, mix & range, promotions to achieve pre-set KPIs.
• Manage standing orders, central purchased orders and direct supplies
• Work with stakeholders to develop customise product mix to achieve higher returns.
• Coordinate to organize onsite-offers/ thematic promotions and publicised offers on press and social media to meet KPIs prescribed by management.
• Source for new leads from source of origin or main principle supply.
• Compile reports and conduct presentations to management and/or panel of stakeholders.
• Visit customers regularly.
• Attend overseas procurement, inspection visits and trade events when required.
• Other tasks as and when assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of procurement or demand planning experience.
• Prior buying/supply experience in the supermarket retail trade will be giving priority
• Possess valid driving license and own transport preferred.
• Self-motivated and target driven.
• Meticulous and analytical.
• Skillful negotiator and effective communicator.
• Strong IT literacy proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE

• Bank entries and good knowledge of Bank Reconciliations.
• Review and manage inter-company accounts reconciliation process.
• Managing the books of accounts to the level of finalization
• Statutory Corporate Compliance of different group companies
• Preparation GST workings and submission of GST returns on Quarterly basis.
• Preparation of different audit schedules for the financial audit.
• Handle treasury / banking matters (if any)
• Preparation of timely monthly management accounts and present to the Finance Manager.
• Coordinating different department managers to improve internal controls and procedures.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the FM.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably possess at least a Diploma in relevant Accountancy discipline or any other relevant certification which is internationally recognized.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably from an international organization with a fast-paced work environment (Candidates with experience in the Construction industry would be highly preferred)
• Possess solid hands-on experience in preparing financial / management reports with multiple functional currency and significant intercompany transactions
• Proficiency with Microsoft office especially in Microsoft Excel
• Candidates with experience in ERP/consolidation systems (e.g. Sage300) will be an added advantage.
