Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the month end closing activities, prepare and review of journals and reports
• Prepare monthly financial statements, audit schedules, reconciliation of accounts,
inter-company confirmation and other accounting records
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST, annual tax returns and other
statutory filings
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretary and
government authorities for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure
compliance
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation & attend yearly stock take activity
• Review, implement and improve financial workflows/processes to strengthen
internal control and compliance and to enhance operational efficiencies
• Assist in Forecasting and Budgeting
• Provide mentorship to junior members of the team
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• 5 years and above with team management experience
• Meticulous, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge and experience of Xero is a major plus.
• Able to work well under pressure and able to cope with tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Perform general bookkeeping and full set of accounting functions - handle daily operational AP/AR tasks including invoicing, payment, receipts etc
• Perform monthly reconciliation and reports
• Debts collections - Contact customer to ensure that their payments are made on time
• GST filing

As a Merchandiser Executive, you will work within the Merchandising team, managing the company’s sales

planning and stock production each season.

⁠Sales Planning

• Generate and analyse sales and stock numbers weekly.

• Analyse sell-through reports and implement promotions for slow-moving items.

• Allocate stock based on sell-through rates and market demands.

• Collaborate with Warehouse/Logistics to control inventory.

• Coordinate with Store Operations to gather feedback on stock and store openings.

• Manage inventory and promotional settings via Retail e-POS, including creating product loaders, purchase

orders, and setting promotions.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in merchandising or a related role

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising or related field

• Good knowledge of the retail industry and current trends
