Job Summary

This role responsible for inventory management and inventory control in Accounting System and Warehouse.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for Company’s inventory management and maintenance.

2. Responsible for monitoring stock movements and maintenance at third party locations.

3. Responsible for managing the physical loading, unloading, storage of inventory and picking / packing when required.

4. Ensure compliance with inventory control processes with respect to movement of stock, item planning and control, re-order level, monitoring of non-moving items, timely discarding of approved scrap items.

5. Responsible for appropriate classification, segregation and maintenance of stock in designated areas.

6. Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained, referenced and filed.

7. Ensure compliance with inventory related updating in Accounting System.

8. Responsible for periodic stock taking, updating and reporting to all stakeholders.

9. Ensure proper co-ordination and communication with teams across all Company locations.

10. Responsible for timely identification of inventory variances, reporting and maintenance of records for variances.

11. Responsible for introducing appropriate procedures for control lapse if any.

12. Responsible for daily & monthly MIS reports to the stakeholders on regular basis and as per the requests by the concerned department as and when required.

13. Responsible for safe handling of inventory.

Summary:

• Ensure all shipping instructions are issued on timely basis to Suppliers, Shipping Lines, 3rdParty Logistics (3PL) and packaging suppliers for on-time arrival of shipments to destinations globally.

Job Scopes:

• Issue of Shipping Instructions (SI) - Timeliness of SI issuance is critical to the on-time departure from origin and arrival of raw materials to all Michelin plants worldwide.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting of all operational issues encountered to find the best course of action for shipments of cargo.
• Taking raw material leadtime and preparations into consideration when issuing SIs and dynamic situation concerning maritime activities
• Logistics Coordination with Stakeholders - Effective liaising with relevant partners to ensure on-time deliveries and service commitment. In addition, to proactively alert stakeholders in case of any event of delays, failure and participates in the search for solutions.
• In the event of issues, the planner must have the ability to analyze and identify the root cause of issue and implement corrective actions to remedy situation. This include cross communications with suppliers, shipping lines representatives and 3PL entities.
• Provide detailed information on practices and tools to display effective monitoring of shipments and actions in place to address issues in the event of unexpected circumstance. (cargo delays, space capacity challenges etc).
• Acquainted with analysis of data management and to propose solutions to improve logistics procedures with new and/or existing working methods.
