Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily deployment of routes

Qualification, Skills and Experience

As an Executive of the Curatorial Team of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about National Education and Singapore’s defence heritage and culture of the five entities within DCS (namely Singapore Discovery Centre, NS-themed Gallery, Singapore Airforce, Army and Navy Museums).

From engaging a wide range of community contributors, conducting primary research and identifying possible donations and collections that will enhance the national narrative, to creating awareness and appreciation, this wide-ranging role covers various aspects of curation, storytelling, research and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out primary research through oral history and video documentation to enrich content
• Curate and conceptualise themes and narratives for permanent galleries, special exhibitions and publications related to Singapore's defence history and heritage

Crew Operations

· Responsible on monitoring monthly /weekly Debtors aging.

· Mailing of Statement of Accounts to customers and respond to their inquiries.

· Prepare Accounts Receivable monthly cash flow forecast.

· Preparation of Journal entries for accruals & other adjustment.

· Preparation of monthly and year-end Balance Sheet schedules.

· Liaising with internal and external auditors.

· Looking into strengthening current and process improvement

· Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

· Diploma/Degree in Accounting

· At least 3 years of experience in accounting & finance.

· Mathematical and analytical ability

· Proven ability to work cross-functionally

· Work independently with minimal guidance required, i.e., good time management, planning/organization and decision-making skills.

· With a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

· Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office applications

· A team player who possesses good communication skills.

• Assists Sales Support during the Quotation stage by preparing the proposal and tender documents.
• Assists Sales Support to trigger the production Job Launch.
• Compilation and submission of Pre-Production Documentations.
• Assists Sales Support to update Customer purchase order and Delivery Schedule.
• Compilation and submission of Concession/NC documents to customer.
• Compilation and submission of Final Product Documentation to Customer.
• Control in Filing System Managment.
• Other task that delegated by Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• A-Level, ITE or Diploma in Engineering/Business or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduate with strong background in related business/engineering discipline will also be considered.

About the role
We are seeking a Temporary Executive (Communications) to join the National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) in the West Region on a 6-month contract. The individual will be supporting the team mainly in the areas of content creation, collaterals and branding.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the development and editing of communication materials including posters, brochures, social media graphics and EDMs
• Handle copywriting, designing and production of print and digital collaterals
• Help manage and coordinate communication projects and outreach events including logistics arrangements, preparation of event materials, liaising work and participation on-site and virtual
• Help track, analyse and compile reports on the performance of media coverage, communication campaigns and initiatives using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and email campaign metrics
• Collaborate closely with teams from various departments and students to gather insights, consolidate inputs and create content that supports communication goals
• Coordinate meetings with external stakeholders including vendors and partners
• Conduct research on brand audits, consumer preference surveys and competitor reviews generate valuable insights that inform communication strategies

What we're looking for

• Current Polytechnic or University student in marketing or communications discipline
• Possess experience in graphic design and video editing skills
• Possess experience in copywriting, designing and production of both print/digital collaterals
• Good organisational and time management skills with great attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Good command of English with solid writing skills; bilingualism is a plus
