The incumbent will ensure the effective implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards across fleet and office operations. He/she should have at least 2-3 years of experience in a QHSE role and a strong understanding of maritime operational and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ISM / SMS system including:
• o Formulation & Review of SMS system.
• o Implementation of current or/and revised Policy/Procedure.
• o Promote a proactive safety culture across.
• Assist in conduct of internal audits and prepare vessels and offices for external audits by flag authorities and classification societies.
• Responsible for vessel & office evaluation pertaining to SMS implementation.
• Responsible for implementation of current/new regulations / guidelines.
• Responsible for managing KPIs assigned to Marine division of Ship management.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of QHSE performance indicators and coordinate initiatives to improve the QHSE management system.
• Lead change management initiatives focus on QHSE improvements and innovations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime or a related field (or equivalent maritime qualification).
• Preferably at least 2-3 years experience in a QHSE role.
