Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of consultancy deliverables like reports, slide decks or training materials.
• Assist Business Unit in HR Consultancy/Business Consultancy Projects.
• Assist Business Unit in marketing and sales
• Translate documents between English and Chinese.
• Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding project matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the customer database by securing new accounts.
• Promote import and export services.
• Grow existing accounts by increasing trade volume.
• Meet weekly/monthly targets for customer visits.
• Keep customer profiles updated for regular contact by the customer service team.
• Monitor and follow up on calls made by customer service weekly to ensure business growth.
• Maintain high service levels for current customers.
• Draft monthly sales plans and collaborate with the team.
• Conduct market research to build a database and pricing strategy.
• Prepare customer quotations as requested.
• Manage customer volume changes and recover lost accounts.
• Organize and manage sales campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly preparation of financial reports for Singapore and Malaysia entities
• Quarterly and annual planning and projecting of sales revenues and operating expenses
• Monthly preparation of payroll for Singapore and Malaysia
• Collaborating with external accounting and corporate secretary firms for annual auditing and tax filing matters
• Manage corporate tax matters such as submission of GST (Singapore), SST (Malaysia), income tax, etc.
• Management of statutory filing such as CPF (Singapore), EPF (Malaysia), etc
• Preparation/Submission of Return of Employee’s Remuneration (IR8A – SG), (Form EA/E – Malaysia)
• Provide financial advice to the management team
• Provide supervision to junior finance colleagues

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree/ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the professional services industry is preferred for this position.
• Excellent knowledge in the use of accounting software such as MYOB, Quickbooks, etc.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous and able to multitask.
• Knowledge and experience in Singapore and Malaysia accounting will be an advantage
• Resourceful and able to work independently
