1. AUTHORITY

To manage the Procurement Team and procurement processes, by delegation or execution.

2. RESPONSIBILITY

The procurement manager is responsible for the Procurement and Logistics Team. He/she is responsible for delegating or executing the spare part, consumable and service contract management, as well as vendor management. He/she will initiate and follow up on process improvement within his/her field of responsibility.

· Support Fleet Management Teams on day-to-day and tactical strategic Procurement

· Monitor operational performance by reviewing KPI statistics, monthly reports

· Review Management Review conclusions and prepare corrective actions

· Audit suppliers according to audit schedule

· Generate feedback on operational performance from Procurement Executives or Procurement Team

· Developing and Monitoring KPI’s in consultation with the Managing Director

· Provide corrective action proposals based on analysis of KPI results, deviation results and root cause analysis, Management Review results

3. WORK CONTACTS

Maintain a constant line of contact with all purchasers in the Procurement Team. Maintain frequent contact with other members of the Management Team and the Managing Director(s). Establish and maintain contacts with ships (representatives) and suppliers globally. Frequent contact with members of the combined Procurement Team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director for this business, the role will be responsible for new and existing business development within our client base.

The key measures of success in this role will be (but not limited to):

• Sourcing - be a key point of contact for the internal (HR) talent acquisition needs
• Lead Generation – drive activities, events, meetings for the purpose of networking and generating leads that are commercial important for the business
• Key Account Management – we partner with most top brands with their recruitment needs for the Singapore market so this role will be responsible for managing some of these key relationships
• Team Management – if you are someone with a passion to lead a sales business, this role will have the opportunity to manage a team of 1-4 people in the next 6 months
• Engagement – use social media, events, cold calling as an engagement tool to drive new business development

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelors’ Degree with at least 4 years experience of having worked in a recruitment company, with minimum 2 years in a people management role would be an advantage

Recruitment

• Plan, supervise, and execute recruitment plans to organize the project’s manpower requirements. (Staff and Workers)
• Propose appropriate changes to compensation and benefit structure where necessary.
• Supervise the onboarding process, and ensure that new hires are led through a smooth process and positive experience till their first day of work.
