As a Cloud Economics Business Development Manager, you will help AWS customers shape their strategies and IT financial models, and quantify both the cost and value benefits of running applications in the cloud. To do this, you will collaborate with AWS sales teams to engage prospective customers to share best practices finance strategies and build board-ready migration business cases. You will identify economic barriers in the adoption of AWS and develop strategies to overcome these barriers. You will communicate the economic value proposition for AWS to a broad audience of Finance, Business and IT leaders by engaging directly with C-level executives, IT professionals and influencers at all levels.

Your responsibilities will involve driving business development activities within AWS that have an financial impact, working together with sales teams on our most strategic customer engagements. You will serve as an expert resource on the financial modeling of IT applications and infrastructure and quantification of value benefits. In appropriate cases you will bring in other AWS resources as necessary to help our customers properly evaluate their IT options from an economic perspective.

The ideal candidate will have financial acumen to drive an engagement and interact with AWS customers. They will have the technical knowledge and business experience to communicate the economic benefits of computing to IT architects, engineering teams and C-Level executives. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of our customers. They will also be familiar with complex legacy IT environments, with data center economics including data center migration and refresh cycles, with common enterprise virtualization environments, and be capable of creating detailed cost models for these environments. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities to influence decision makers in a consultative selling approach, preferably through previous consulting, sales or similar customer experience, in order to progress decision making through developing and presenting a compelling business case.

Key job responsibilities
• Work with AWS Sales, Solution Architecture, BD and Marketing teams, proactively drive ROI/economic conversations with our customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers’ IT infrastructure by conducting detailed technical and business discovery
• Develop a standard ROI framework and analytical models to be utilized by the AWS Sales, BD and marketing teams.
• Serve as a central resource for the Sales team to help our customers create appropriately detailed financial models for their current and future AWS landscape.
• Create a repository of Cloud Economics cases studies and conversations to share learnings with all parts of AWS.
• Serve as a key source of market insights into how our customers view the economic benefit of using AWS relative to deploying applications on-premises or in traditional data centers.
• Work with internal stakeholders to communicate market realities regarding the economics of running IT applications and infrastructure in the cloud when compared to a traditional on-premises or co-located data center environment.
• Prepare and present business reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocks on cost and business value related issues.

MAIN PURPOSE

Working closely with Global business solution team as SCM Regional Business Solutions Lead in APAC.

Manage the overall process of AMS L1 on support on SCM function across APAC organisation.

Responsible for leading SCM function and related cross-functional/technical/process issue resolution and coordination within the AMS team, escalating as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the overall process of AMS L1 on support on SCM (MM/SD) area ensuring smooth functional operations across APAC organisation.

· Work with Global Business Solution team, affiliate AMS team and System Integrators in SCM

· Support procures to pay (PTP), demand and supply planning functions.

· Identify gaps and related system needs, while recommending improvements and workarounds towards best practice by rolling out standard solution.

· Plan, Track, analyze and report solution progress to Business Solution manager.

· Monitor, review and resolve escalated issues relating to SCM area with RCA and CAPA processes.

· Lead a team of SCM AMS support professionals, providing mentorship and supports.

· Responsible for SCM support, SLA on Incidents, Problems and Change Requests, and provide intervention guidance and proactive solutions when required.

· Quantify, document and monitor benefits of process improvements.

· Support planning, coordination and execution of workshops/trainings involving IT and end-users.

· Involve in project rollouts for SCM, PTP, IBP processes.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's Degree in I.T, Computers or related field

· Minimum 5 years in SAP SCM (MM/SD) experience

· Experienced in managing the SAP support team/contractors for SAP SCM area.

· Experience and knowledge of key integration points between SAP Modules

· Business knowledge and process design skills in Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics

· Experienced in system integrations between SAP systems, and with 3rd parties systems

· Team management and coordination skills for virtual, cross-cultural teams
