Roles & Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:-

1. Lead and in-charge the Special Projects such as:-

a. To enhance the service quality of the Japanese Business;

b. To establish customer benefit services with vendors;

c. To introduce Japanese hospitality and culture to our employees, distribution channel, clients and society.

2. Report in Japanese regularly to our Head Office in Tokyo.

3. Underwrites and specialize in Marine Hull and other general insurance classes.

4. Provide customer service in Japanese to Japanese clients on their inquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters.

5. Provide Japanese language support to staff in other departments, where appropriate.

6. Provide administrative support.

7. Plan and organize visitations to clients (new business/renewal/claims happenings).

8. Develop good relationship with clients to maintain and enhance existing clients’ business.

9. Plan renewal strategies for Japanese corporate clients.

10. Prepare underwriting quotations to clients in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines.

11. Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums.

12. Maintain clients’ details and information.

Job Requirements:-

1. Minimum Degree Holder qualification;

2. At least 10 years of experience in General Insurance industry;

3. Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese for handling local and Japanese clients;

4. Good understanding of doing Japanese business;

5. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;

6. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;

7. Organized and has the ability to work under pressure;

8. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers;

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

JOB SUMMARY

• The role holder will be accountable for business change and transformation of the Transaction Banking business and core business enablement initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Enablement Program

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants and SPM team to design and execute the workstreams within the Sales enablement program.
• Deliver a standardized Sales methodology and processes, instil pipeline discipline, and increase revenue realization.
• Collaborate with TB Finance and agree on key metrics to measure success and to ensure successful implementation of sales enablement program

Strategy and Execution

• Support the TB business change agenda.
• Execute a business-aligned enablement change plan (including KPIs to ensure the initiatives are embedded and adopted).
• Drive excellence in business enablement, through identifying and delivering business success requirements. Monitor and report on the realisation of benefits from the enablement initiatives, supporting them in meeting objectives.

Programme Management

• Govern business change projects, including ensuring requirements, timelines and detailed plans are produced and managed, tracking projects to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, with the flexibility and agility to change and adapt as you go.
• Ensure good programme governance through programme / project disciplines, oversight committees and correct documentation of programme plans, approaches, and documentation (as outlined in the Bank’s Programme Governance Policy and Project Management Standards).
• Produce clear documentation such as plans, briefings, timelines, processes, stakeholder comms, or meeting notes.
• Set a consistent methodology for measuring baselines and tracking/reporting benefits, tracking of transformation programmes at key milestone level (investments, costs, and benefits).

Change Management

• Facilitate the delivery of business change programmes, ensuring appropriate programme structure, tracking, reporting and governance.

• Work closely with business units across the organisation to ensure they are prepared for the change, addressing any concerns or resistance.
• Where specific subject matter expertise is required, bring together and facilitate the optimal outcome for TB and the Group and communicate it in a clear and compelling way to key stakeholders.
• Work closely with TB businesses impacted by relevant initiatives and changes to solve issues and spot opportunities as they arise.
• Ensure that all change management deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.
• Develop and execute effective communication plans to inform and engage all relevant parties about the change. Prepare supporting documents and presentations.
• Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback on the change process, and make necessary adjustments based on this feedback.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of business enablement initiatives and facilitate effective handovers to BAU.

Risk Management & Governance

• Ensure risks are appropriately managed with the Risk Appetite, supporting mitigation and resolution of risks and issues which may impair delivery, escalating unresolved risks/issues.
• Identify, escalate, and support in the resolution of issues that have the potential to hinder or delay the implementation TB initiatives.
• Support the resolution of any issues or conflicts arising within the book of work. Work with other key project teams in TB or the Group to ensure inter-dependencies are appropriately considered and managed.
• Manage audits and assurance reviews, both internal and external.​​​​​​​

• Support the delivery of large-scale business enablement and change agenda, ensuring execution across the highest value items.

Meta’s Support Engineering team is looking for an engineer to play a key role in scaling Meta’s key Fintech product priorities. As a business support engineer working on Meta Fintech Products, you will get an opportunity to work on our family of apps including Instagram, WhatsApp, FB and build support flows for the systems where we process over 140 Billion annually.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Payment providers and advertisers to help them to deploy Meta products.
• Provide ongoing integration monitoring and technical support to payment partners/processors through a scaled ticketing system, while ensuring a high quality of service, troubleshooting partner’s technical issues in real-time, in cooperation with their engineering teams, and Facebook's internal technical teams, to resolve payment service issues

• Technical understanding of online payment processing flows. (Merchants, Acquirer Banks, Issuers bank)
• Experience in working/troubleshooting with networking protocols (HTTPS, API, REST, VPN’s)
• Experience in one or more of the following languages: PHP, Python, Ruby, Objective-C/C++, Swift, Java, or C#
• Experience with system administration and scripting under Unix/Linux systems
• Demonstrated problem-solving approach and analytical skills

Technology Project Manager will be responsible for one or more of following functions assigned to him as required.

Shipyard repairs & dry-docking support

• Maintain updated list of OSM Thome standard docking jobs for all classes of vessels, concurrent with class and flag requirements.
• Assist Vessel Managers to finalise ship specific docking specifications.
• Monitor docking planning of vessels in the fleet and liaise with respective Vessel Manager to ensure docking and associated repairs are carried out within the relevant window.
• Liaise with shipyards to ensure availability of repair slots.
• Assist the Vessel Manager with yard bids comparison and yard selection.
• Assist Vessel Manager or attend vessels during the dry-dock repair period, as required.
• Provide quarterly analysis report on yard performance based on set KPI’s.

Planned maintenance systems

• Monitor functionality of the Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) for fleet vessels and provide solutions for the resolution of any issues and correction and improvement of database.
• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the PMS program on each vessel is optimally utilized.
• Assist with the implementation of the PMS for new tonnage inducted into the Fleet.
• Ensure that the PMS are updated with new jobs as per the latest requirements from Classification Societies, Flag State Administrations, industry requirements, and sharing of best practices and experiences on the fleet.
• Provide PMS familiarisation and training to ship staff visiting the Office.
• Provide monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and statistics on the status of the PMS across the fleet to management.

Vessel performance monitoring systems

• Monitor functioning of the performance monitoring systems for fleet vessels. Facilitate regular and easy monitoring of speed and consumption performance of fleet vessels.
• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the performance monitoring system on each vessel is optimally utilized and to resolve any concerns.
• Facilitate comparative study of performance across the fleet, using performance monitoring system.
• Enhancement of system to enable reporting and managing of newer performance aspects as new requirements are identified, and new regulations come into force.
• Identify scope to optimize energy management in the fleet, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with the implementation of the performance monitoring system and SEEMP for new tonnage inducted into the fleet.
• Assist the Vessel Manager for the monitoring of the EEOI on each ship.

Technical procedures & knowledge sharing

• Sharing learning on technical issues, as gained from operational experience within the fleet and knowledge from industry best practices & new regulatory requirements; with vessels and Technical Departments.
• Review & revise technical procedures for simplification and updating with latest experience and knowledge.
• Formulate technical alerts & circulars and contribute to periodic presentation sessions, for knowledge sharing.
• Audits of technical departments to ensure compliance to standards (provisions under HSSEQ, TMSA & Rightship).
• Identify deficiencies & scopes for improvement in compliance, and recommend measures for improvement.

Technical support

• To extend support to technical departments in following areas, based on requirements:

Education and qualification
