Job Description:
● Responsible for monthly closing of the management group companies;
● Provide monthly consolidation of accounts, forecast cashflow and variance analysis on a timely basis;
● Prepare intercompany invoicing including counterpart’s subsidiaries and affiliate and reimbursement of fund expenses on a quarterly basis;
● Act as a time controller and coordinator with other departments and vendors to manage the timeline for internal reporting
● Manage cost allocation and revenue recognition for different profit centres;
● Responsible for compliance reporting for management group companies;
● Lead the annual budgeting process;
● In-charge of external audit and statutory reporting;
● Responsible for bank/exchange/custodian account opening for all entities including fund and management group;
● Process all vendor payments as well as maintain invoice tracker;
● Maintain a proper record/database and filing system ;
● Other projects or ad hoc tasks will be assigned
Requirements:
● Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years experience in asset management corporate accounting
● Having exposures in regional accounting is preferred, especially in HK, Singapore and US
● Analytical in problem solving, able to make judgment/ recommendation
● Good interpersonal and business communication skills
● Ability to prioritize and work accurately with close attention to detail
● Self-motivated, independent and fast learner
● Fluent in English and Chinese are essential
● Experience in accounting software (e.g. Quickbook) is preferred
● Familiar with MAS reporting and other regulatory requirements
