• Project Management and site supervision of all jobs under your preview including cost control, manpower deployment and ensuring all jobs are completed in accordance to the terms and conditions of the contract with the employers/customers.

• Coach and advise team members to accomplish project goals/deliverables, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues.
• Perform additional functions such as system engineering, software testing, procurement, creation of product manuals and project documentation
• Loading of order for hardware/software with Distributors and Partners
• Develop project kickoff slides – sow, times, organizational charts, risks, stakeholders etc.
• Initiate team meetings
• Integrate all stakeholders for workshops, meetings, discussions with the purpose of moving the project forward
• Facilitate project closure and lessons learned
• Accountable to the Director and/or key stakeholdersfor the delivery of project.
• Guide and collaborate with a team of qualified technical staff in the provision of after-sales support and maintenance program including overseeing incidents related to the Technical Team
• Ensure project and maintenance SLA (Service Level Agreement) and customer satisfaction levels are met
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines
• Research new technologies and solutions in support of the programs
• Any other technical or operations related duties that may be required

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in IT equivalent qualifications or Electrical & Electronic engineering with experience in the SI industry
• Knowledge of or experience with Radar or Radio Frequencies (RF) related products is a must
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in project management related role handling OT and/or IT systems. Experience in public projects is a must.
• Knowledge or experience in networking, firewall, IT systems is a plus point
• PMP is preferred
• Excellent English and Mandarin interpersonal, oral and written communications skills are required
• Hardware, software and technical aptitude
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Show initiative, self-discipline, excellent judgment, career aspirations for increased role and responsibilities, a demonstrated willingness to work as a team with the ability to work independently
• Willing to learn new technologies and work under pressure
• Willing to travel overseas to support overseas requirements

Responsibilities

• Set project timeline and keep projects on track.
• Monitor project deliverables and update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
• Schedule tasks and co-ordinate with various team members to accomplish project objectives.
• Manage project budget and resource allocation.
• Interact regularly with existing and potential clients to determine needs and develop plans for improving delivery.
• Work cross functionally to solve problems and implement changes where needed.
• Resolve and assist in the resolution of conflicts among different stakeholders.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering Disciplines with adequate exposure background in site electrical work.
• Demonstrated some knowledge of Electrical System Interconnection and Technical References.
• Proven track record in project management, including experience in budget control, project scheduling, operation of a fabrication workshop, and conducting feasibility studies for project proposals.
• PMP certification is preferred but not a must; in lieu, a critical pathway-centric approach to project management will take precedence.
• Experience leading and managing teams effectively and robustly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Good engineering background, with a focus on automotive and/or power engineering being a distinct advantage.
• Ability to converse both in English & Mandarin for liaison with Durapower's chinese subsidiary in Suzhou.
