Project Specialist (Oil & Gas projects)

working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Project Specialist is responsible for coordinating equipment sourcing and preparation to ensure delivery of equipment packages to projects on time and in compliance with the Corporate and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilizing JDE for locating of assets and inventory to compile project Master Equipment Lists.
• Request redeployment and/or purchase of A and I to meet project requirements.
• Arrange equipment inspection or repair by third parties as required.
• Coordinate with the R&M supervisor to advise maintenance requirements and allocation of personnel to complete all maintenance tasks in line with project deadlines.
• Communicate with project engineers and operations team on additional project requirements and ensure MEL is complete prior to load out. Highlight any equipment shortages, potential delays or maintenance issues that may affect project deadlines.
• Coordinate final visual load out equipment inspection and DROPS in coordination with QA engineer and supervisor.
• Coordinate with QA engineer to Compile asset inspection/calibration TMDE reports for project QA folder.
• Coordinate with R&M supervisor to ensure all MPD maintenance, inspection, repair and qualification requirements are met, ensuring compliance technical work instructions, raising corrective actions for all non-conformities and identifying areas requiring improvement and or audit.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in project coordination/ management, from conception to delivery.
• Good experience in heavy Industrial, Engineering, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing sector.
• Willing working at night, max up to 7pm for regional meetings & comfortable working in the weekends for project urgency.
• Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Familiarity with risk management (HSE), quality assurance control, including visual inspection, and adherence to quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Fluent in English language (speaking and writing) for effective collaboration with overseas teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st level IT support to around 40 users
• Coordinate with IT vendors on maintenance, upgrade, security issues
• Manage IT procurement and inventory
• Assist with the provisioning and deprovisioning of equipment to users
• Develop and maintain in-house IT documentation and user guides
• Support planning and project execution for strategic initiatives (both IT as well as non IT projects)

Requirements:

• Possess good understanding of Telecommunications Infrastructure and IT system knowledge
• Able to manage multiple projects/proposals
• Effective communication (both written & verbal), interpersonal skills and personable
• 1 to 5 years relevant experience
• Knowledge in Logistics/Freight Forwarding is an advantage

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our expanding construction team. The candidate will be responsible for the overall construction on the interior project assigned and co-ordination of the various stakeholders from clients to the various sub trade works. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge and experience to lead and engage with design professionals, consultants, clients while successfully directing the site team and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and project budget.

Candidate must be professional and a personable leader committed to the overall objective.

Construction Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of the project schedule.
• Review the project plans and specifications and highlight/ identify on the building design, scheduling, risks, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
• Assist and guide Quantity surveyor team in preparation of project budget.
• Preparation and set out the general conditions of project drawdown/ forecast and budget summaries for review.
• Assist in setting up required site office and equipments required.
• Ability to intelligently communicate with desig team/client as well as effectively lead the various trades of works.
• Expedite and co-ordinate with the drawing team on shopdrawings submission and approvals.
• Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis.
• Organise, Lead and chair technical site meeting
• Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings. Prepare and issue minutes of all site meetings
• Inform the consultant/client of any errors, discrepancies or omissions on design drawings.
• Co-ordinate and liase with sub trades/ contractors and vendors for submissions and execution of site works.
• Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members.
• Maintain change order log and informed necessary parties of potential variations.
• Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced and adhere to.
• Ensure completion of and track all independent testing and inspections as required.
• Issue monthly progress claims and invoicing to clients.
• Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control.
• Ensure relevant authorities submissions are made based on project requirements and needs
• Ensure that ‘as-built’ drawings and OMM are prepared on an ongoing basis by all trades during the construction perios and issue final close-out to consultants/ clients accordingly.
• Prepare and expedite on project defects lists.

Project Management Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager on interior fit out for commercial, hospitality, education, institution or industrial projects.
• Degree in construction related field.
• Proficient understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts of trade works and project sequencing.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suites.
• Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Analytics, the role of the Business Development Manager APAC is to maximize the return on the company’s investment dollars by providing fact-based input into development projects and by accurately evaluating and communicating to the BD team and the executive management the financial risk and return of potential business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying and evaluating potential development opportunities in new or existing accounts.

• Providing financial insights to help choose the most promising concepts.

• Offering negotiation support for new business initiatives.

• Coordinating with Business Development, Operations, and Design & Construction teams to build a comprehensive Business Case for each project, including operating assumptions, financial projections, risk assessments, and potential upsides.

• Evaluate and interpret RFP, project manage end to end bid submission.

• Engaging in negotiations with landlords and potential business partners.

• Preparing and presenting Business Cases for capital expenditure approval.

• Conducting Post Audits of Business Cases to compare actual project performance with the approved projections and sharing insights with the Business Development team for continuous improvement.

• Leading sales and trend analysis, capital reconciliations, and other key commercial and financial metrics.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Minimum 8 years of combined education and professional background.

· Essential to have robust financial experience.

· Skilled in NPV, IRR, cost/benefit, trend analysis, and financial modeling.

· Business Degree or equivalent qualification.

· Valued experience in travel retail, especially in Retail or F&B.

· Ability to discern financial and strategic implications conceptually.

· Experienced in interpreting legal agreements and knowledge in commercial real estate and service companies.

· Understanding of long-term financial planning impacts and aligning with organizational goals.

· Proven ability to grasp business needs, stakeholder priorities, and employee dynamics.
